I always loved watching the BUFFs fly by out of Wurtsmith AFB when it was open. One of my all time favorite planes to see pass over, I wonder if there is a single original part in that plane photoed from when it came off the assembly line...

next to last destroyer on the left is out of position - he appears to be at 750 yds vs 1000 which makes the destroyer behind him properly at 1000 yds appear to be out of kilter as well.
(got my a** chewed by the Co for being at proper distance behind a screw up in my past life - he admitted I was right, but didn’t care because the photo made it look like we were wrong - said as much, too...at least he was an honest drunk.)
And yes they care that much about something as silly as this because they will get ribbed everytime someone looks at the photo in the o-club - for months on end - until the next guy does something...

That is an awesome picture. The power and skill that it takes to build and maintain that incredible lineup of hardware is a demonstration of how amazing a place America is.
And, sadly, all of that hardware means nothing without a leadership with the brains, heart, and balls to use it properly. Which is something we don’t have right now.

next to last destroyer on the left is out of position You are looking at the ships. Look at the waves, man. The wakes make an even pattern. Did you notice the guy on the right, just behind the destroyer, that is out of alignment?
