A new poll out Monday shows the two GOP front-runners holding steady in hypothetical head-to-head general-election match-ups with President Obama and leading him in a grouping of 12 key swing states.
Mitt Romney and Obama are deadlocked at 47 percent in the latest USA Today/Gallup Poll of national voters, with the GOP challenger edging the incumbent 48 percent to 46 in a dozen battleground states identified by the survey.
That's a strong showing for the former Massachusetts governor, who was trailing Obama by as much as 8 percentage points in an Associated Press poll released last week.

Hell I hope gas hits $5.00 a gallon.
There’s NO WAY he will be re-elected with gas that high.

Gee no wonder there are many calls for releasing fuel from the strategic petroleum reserve like reading the price of gas by 3¢ a gallon will save his sorry @**.

Not to worry.
The Community Agitators Formerly Known as ACORN have millions of dead voters registered and ready to hit the polling stations.

Next, we’ll have” un-named sources” urging Hillary! to throw her headband in the ring, and she will mysteriously have a full campaign staff ready to roll.

I am hoping for $6.
Problem is, the welfare class doesn't need gas because they don't go to work.

I think the damage has been done to Obama beyond repair and he did it to himself. He can't hit 50% approval more than a couple one day bumps.
Obama refuses to approve a 900,000 barrels of oil a day pipeline with 20,000 immediate jobs.
He apologized to terrorist for nothing our troops did wrong.
Health Insurance Cost is skyrocketing despite his claim that with Obamacare they would lower.
etc,,,,

Former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum tops Obama 50%-45% in the swing states. Nationwide, Santorums lead is 49%-46%. Romney (aka Obama-lite) tied with Obama 47%-47%.

I agree tho it’s absolutely disgusting to think that the voting sheeple of America base their vote on gas prices.
But if that’s what it takes to unseat the commiecrats, I say let it go to $7 a gallon just to make sure it’s a blowout in November.

Gas & Diesel > $5.00 will cause an acceleration of inflation that could be very difficult to slow.
