Romney Wins Arizona GOP Primary .

Mitt Romney won the Arizona primary and was clinging to a small but persistent lead over Rick Santorum in Michigan Tuesday with about half of precincts reporting.

The former Massachusetts governor had been widely expected to win Arizona. Michigan was the fiercer battleground, and Mr. Santorum hoped a victory there would help him offset Mr. Romney's advantages in money, organization and experience.

But Mr. Romney held a lead of several percentage points in his native state, where his father was governor. If the narrow margin held up, it would give Mr. Romney momentum but might not dispel doubts about his ability to unify the party.

With 50% of Michigan's precincts reporting, Mr. Romney had 40% of the vote to Mr. Santorum's 36.2%. Texas Rep. Ron Paul had 11.5%, and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich had 6.6%.

I’m sure it was a normal outage.

After all, what could Romney have to gain by having FR down all day, today?

But we can fight back. Even with all their media hype and supposed momentum, Romney’s a hell of a long way from the delegates he needs. We need to all work to get the word out that a vote for Romney is a vote for Obama.

Please fellow Freepers, don’t give up. We can stop this goon and stay free if we work together.

Following link has some points that would help us, toward the end.

I’d have to blame myself then. I too am from MI. Sorry, testy here. Romney winning here was a given, with the Mormons voting for him even more slavishly than blacks voting for Obama.

And let’s make it clear, Obama wants Romney. Because he knows he can make it a race, because Romney is the less conservative of all the candidates. He can’t get his base.

It’s a raid - you raid the enemy and take half the votes on his own turf.

While not the longest uptime I’ve seen, the server hadn’t had a break in over 1,195 days. I guess it decided to go to lunch.

Oh, well the state that gave us McAmnesty has done it again.

This state is filling up with libtards and moderates from the west coast and back east. I want out - nothing like when I moved here in 1965.

I know. I just don’t get Arizona at all. If it’s red, then it should vote red, but it’s anything but red apparently. It must be purple now.

Detroit three biggest counties Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne gave the state to Mittens.

With Newt practically taking a pass on MI and a few Democrats stirring the pot. Santorum Lost the Popular vote will have to see how it comes out on delegates.

Wonder how much Mittens and Santorum spent in Michigan. Now Mittens can partially refill his coffers.

Ga, Oh, Tn, Ok on Super Tuesday is the next line in the sand to stop mittens. MA, VT, VI could still easily give mittens 100 delegates.
