Georgetown Students Go Broke to Buy Birth Control? Target Sells Pills for $9 Per Month

Nancy Pelosi held a congressional hearing on Monday with a single witness, Georgetown student Sandra Fluke, to testify about the need for Obamacare to mandate that religious institutions provide free contraception and abortifacients under their health insurance plans.

“Forty percent of the female students at Georgetown Law reported to us that they struggled financially as a result of this policy,” Fluke testified regarding the Catholic university's policy of not covering birth control. “Without insurance coverage, contraception, as you know, can cost a woman over $3,000 during law school.”

But Fluke's testimony was very misleading. Birth control pills can be purchased for as low as $9 per month at a pharmacy near Georgetown's campus. According to an employee at the pharmacy in Washington, D.C.'s Target store, the pharmacy sells birth control pills--the generic versions of Ortho Tri-Cyclen and Ortho-Cyclen--for $9 per month. "That's the price without insurance," the Target employee said. Nine dollars is less than the price of two beers at a Georgetown bar.

Stop being Tramps and sluts, and act like moral women, and you won't have an issue.

For males, this sex-crazed promotion has driven marriage rates to an all-time low, millions of babies are killed in the womb, and sex is the most-important thing in young people's lives today, because it's PROMOTED AND ENCOURAGED. It's great for the guys, as they have always-available sex for free, and the women lose their appeal as wives, since they can't be trusted or valued for their morals.

Why buy the cow, when the milk is free?

Don’t they have something better to do than worry about how to have sex without consequences? Like, I don’t know, maybe STUDY.

Now we have the answer why America’s legal systen is so ‘screwed’ up.

Methinks they ought to be studying more than....well, you know. Kidding aside, what idiot would spend that kinda cash? Are they buying 24karat pills?

Pelosi has lied so often she has to resort to things this ridiculous just to keep the scare ever-growing.

Digging deeper they want these to cost the same as most generics at Walmart, $4 for a month’s supply. Concerned that these are $9 and “everything else” is $4.

Well, that just goes to show you it’s, once again, not about what the leftist spokesperson says it’s about,

but about something else.

In this case, it’s forcing YOU to pay for THEIR extramarital sexcapades.
This is the way leftists always operate - they first “beg” for “tolerance”, and end up using force to make you participate.

And the aspirin can be reused.

And if you run out of aspirin, in a pinch, the bottle itself would work.

Actually, an aspirin can be a very effective form of birth control.

All the young lady has to do is to hold it between her knees and she won't get pregnant.

If this slut spent as much time sitting at a desk as she apparently does lying on her back, she might amount to something other than a disposable piece of meat. This is what “women” are fighting for?

Nine bucks? And I said $30!

So you have to give up a dollar a day rather than 30 cents if you want a deluxe brand name.

Are they saying that the sources previous generations of students used for contraceptives (since this generation did not, after all, invent sex) have gone away? Really? I doubt that.

Some contraceptives might add up to $3K a year. If that's the case for an individual, then she might consider being a bit careful about where she's spending her money. Or her time. Or both.

Since these are law students we're talking about, I don't know why anybody would take what they say at face value anyway.

Didn’t someone get busted for attempting to write off hookers as a “business expense”?
