In an at-times heated interview, Fox and Friends co-host Gretchen Carlson grilled Democratic Nation Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz over high gas prices, and played video of her criticizing President Bush over the same problem.
So I think you felt the President could have done something about lowering the gas prices, Carlson pressed. What do you say now that gas prices are going to reach $5 a gallon under President Obama?
What I was referring to in that speech, as I have for many years, is that focusing on fossil fuels and continuing the drill baby drill strategy that President Obama rightly referred to the other day in south Florida as a bumper sticker, not an energy policy, is not the way to go, Schultz replied. We are not going to address gas prices over the long-term because there is there is no President in the short-term that can really change policy and impact gas prices in a significant way. But what we do need to do is over the short-term and long-term make sure that we are using the all of the above strategy that President Obama has employed: more domestic energy production than weve had in eight years, making sure that we invest for the future in alternative energy like wind and solar and hydroelectric power, so that we can really start to impact our need to depend on
But A lot of Americans are wondering whats going to happen now and a lot of those things take time, Carlson shot back.
Affecting gas prices takes time, Schultz acknowledged. Youre absolutely right,

——Its all about the means justifying the ends. Whatever you have to do or say in order to get to the utopian dream is OK. That is what seperates the left from the right. The right stands on principle and morals, the left has none.——
Like you say, it’s a deliberate choice, not stupidity or ignorance.
Some day I’ll ask a liberal, “Should we always do good, and avoid evil?”
“Then can we do evil, so that good may come?”
No sense of humor is right.
I don’t think using crap to clean the crap out of the toilet will work...
I get no credit! Just an email joke goin’ round. Thought it fit the comment I replied to though.
True...the redundancy theory...
To expand on your post a bit...
The left sees their end goal as nothing short of heaven on earth, a renewed Eden, something of infinite worth.
When they balance out the means necessary to achieve this goal of infinite worth, ANYTHING is justified.
It’s good to see that someone has informed ole’ Deb that the 80’s is now over and she has updated her hair style. When I would see pics of her on the floor of the house with that frizzed out hair, I thought it was 1987....

And since they’re at least practcal atheists, an earthly paradise is as good as it’s going to get. Liberalism is secular religion. This explains their hysterical reaction to any reduction in State power.
Man just imagine how much more ugly she would be if her nose grew overtime she told a lie instead of her hair looking greasier....

I thought Brian Kilmeade was their designated Heated Interview Guy. Half the time I think he is going to end his segment by taking a swing at the guest.
