For Sale: Nine bedrooms. 19 bathrooms. One indoor basketball court. Den suitable for six NBA titles, five NBA most valuable player wards, two dunk contest titles and various championship rings and accolades trophies not included.
Every weekend people from all over the world came to see Michaels house, Jordans former neighbor Lou Weisbach said. There would be 1,500 to 2,000 cars every weekend. Limos would bring Navy personnel. Having his number on the gate, some people tried to paint that negatively. But it wasnt about ego. He put it there so people could take a photograph to prove they were there without impacting his privacy. And everyone who came got out and took pictures in front of the gate.
The house was built in 1995, the same year he announced his retirements end with just two words Im Back. When Jordan carried the Bulls to a second NBA title three-peat, the MVP slept in an Emperor-size bedroom that has an adjoing master bath complete with whirlpool tub and separate steam shower. Its the house where the Jordans raised their sons.
For a while, Jordans mother lived in the guest house. After the NBAs greatest players marriage ended in divorce, the 32,683 square-foot family home got a bachelor pad makeover perfectly suited to Jordans tastes.
Theres a 500-bottle wine cellar with a tasting room and cigar parlor trimmed in custom wood. Theres also a putting green meticulously carved into the 7.4-acre estates side yard that Jordans chip shot often missed, his former next door neighbor said.

I wouldn’t live in illinouse if you gave it to me.
What a monstrosity. Only its architect could love this ‘house.’
I’ll kick in $20!
There’s an interesting story about Jordan having to give quests GPS locators since several people have turned up missing.
Local search and rescue teams have been combing the residence for months and are handing out MISSING photos to all guests at the door in an effort to find these people.
Jordan issued a statement to the press claiming...”We have not given up hope that the missing people will be found, we know that they alive and well and are in here somewhere and will be located”
Asked by a reporter how he knows they are still alive Jordan replied...”The search teams have found discarded chicken bones and empty beer cans around the many refrigerators located in my compound, they are confident they are just lost, confused and looking for the way out”
Reporter: “What kind of measures have you taken to prevent further problems with missing guests”?
Jordan: “Of course, issuing GPS locators to all guests will go a long way to resolve this problem but we have also installed ‘YOU ARE HERE’ signs though out the compound”
I had not thought that until you mentioned it but you are right! It does!! We gotta add the Big O. to that list also. Anybody that averages a triple/double for an entire NBA season, (plus incredible career stats to), has gotta be there!!
