The killings in south Afghanistan came after two senior U.S. officers were gunned down in the heart of Afghanistan's Interior Ministry on Saturday by what Afghan security officials say was a police intelligence official.
That attack raised questions about NATO's strategy of replacing large combat units with advisers as the alliance tries to wind down the war

DOD had just announced that US advisors will be returning to Afghan ministries with increased force protection. Apparently some non-military guys who have to meet with Afghan gov't reps are taking private security guards with them. This comes at a time when security for projects, etc. is being handed over to the Afghans and the PSCs are being shut down.

I have this artistic urge to soak a Koran in a bunch of pig slop, call it “Pig Mohammed” and apply for a grant from the NEA...

Its not right when a soldier in the Armed Services of America has to hire a personal private civilian bodyguard because the Commander in Chief quakes in fear of insulting Islam.

I might be considered somewhat of a hawk, but geez Louise, not one more US life is worth what the future holds for this country and some of it’s neighbors. Give them their sovereignty not a cent more, and get the hell out. Obama’s war done gone to H E L L!

This is awful. We have a person in charge who should be removed today. And Drudge has a story that says Obama’s apology have made the problems calm down. (that OBama thinks so) God protect our military.

I was talking with a buddy in Kabul who has to work liaison with the locals. I’m out in the boonies dealing with rockets and IEDs but better that than what he has to put up with.

I think the guys in uniform are taking care of themselves. The folks using PSC guards are most likely civilians - including USG types.

Article Title Correction:
It now reads ->
Two NATO soldiers "killed by Afghan soldier, civilian"
I guess we should expect another Obama apology and more MSM cow-tolling to the Obama party line that his apologies "calm things down."
