Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.
We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.
Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.
Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:
I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.
Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

I still cannot get over it. Maybe, just maybe, he had to fake his own death to save his family?
Maybe, just maybe, once the evil one is out of office in 2012, he will come out? Maybe, just maybe, he’ll be working behind the scenes with his most trusted people to get the tapes out?

I’m so sorry to hear that. We lost a good, conservative warrior today. It’s hard to understand why God takes a good man so young, but he has his reasons. I’d like to extend my condolences to his wife and four children. It will most certainly be the hardest on them. Rest with God, Andrew.

I agree absolutely. There is a definite need for an autopsy.
I believe the “midnight” was pacific time. There’s probably confusion between the time zones people were referring to.

Andrew Breitbart is silenced. Sheriff Joe reveals the birth certificate is an obvious forgery. And Rush gets a bomb scare.
The Rush one is interesting as maybe more credible threats had been recently made to his security team and they were on high alert.
Weirder and weirder.
Go over on craigslist world politics. The lefties are dancing around like an evil seance, celebrating his death and spewing out vile and despicable hatred towards the man.
A very sad day. RIP Andrew and my thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, children, friends and family. It’s up to us to carry on the fight for him.

Oh, how awful. Well... my cousin died at 43 of a heart attack, but they didn't call it "natural causes," they called it a heart attack. I guess it's a terminology issue, but geez. This is still just a shock. It's 12 hours since I heard it and I'm still kind of dazed.
