Ten Indications That Obama Is Scared
American Thinker ^ | 03/01/2012 | Kevin Jackson

Posted on 03/01/2012 6:30:34 AM PST by SeekAndFind

Obama is not the cool, calm, and collected guy that he portrays publicly; he's far from it. Obama is described privately as a thin-skinned hot-head when it comes to questioning his policies, or anything else, for that matter.

Though there has been a slight shift upward in Obama's poll numbers, Obama knows the real temperature of the American people. Here are 10 indicators as to why Obama will have sleepless nights leading up to the election of 2012:

1. Obama started African Americans for Obama. When blacks supposedly voted at 95 percent for Obama in the last election, one has to question his motives in starting this group. The answer is that Obama's poll numbers among blacks have fallen back to their lowest point, a clear sign that Obama is feeling the pressure. If Obama loses his street cred amongst blacks, he will likely be abandoned by other groups. Obama must have the "race" element in 2012, even though the black vote will be much less significant in 2012. By the way, how would the media have covered "White Americans for McCain?"

The best money I ever spent was buying a home outside the US after he was elected.

That was a good idea. May I be so nosy as to ask how much you paid (a range would be fine)?

LOL digging up old slick willy are we?

I will do all I can to defeat the worst individual to occupy the white house and until I am proven otherwise in November 2012 we will win and get the country I love back on track.
Oh by the way why don’t you spend more time stopping the rat machine corruption instead of whining about it? I do and so do many others. Stop giving them $ by changing your habits, like watching abccbsnbc, give up you favorite shows, stop using Google and Facebook, and there are many more.

“Oh by the way why don’t you spend more time stopping the rat machine corruption instead of whining about it? “

Ok, let me give you a clue, since you seem to need it. First, we’re on the same side, and our exchange is a microcosm of the problem I see with the current state of the GOP.

Second, and more important, my observations have purpose beyond simply complaining. The more concrete, the more real and reasoned an Obama re-election is made to appear, maybe some of those freepers who will stay home if whoever is nominated will reconsider. This is not a game, and staying home will have a cost that is way too high.

As for not supporting rats, google is the only place I falter. I need to work on that one.

The black vote. 95%+ no matter what.

They may not vote Republican, but if they're not enthused they may just stay home.

Exactly. 95% of a million is a lot less than 95% of a thousand (as an example)!

The way he’s running—I believe he might just try to cancel the election and rule by decree. He has been replacing generals, he has been setting up camps for protesters. With the Union, Wall Street, MSM on his side—he just might pull it off. Cancel the election due to some “crisis” that he manufactures. War with Iran? Terrorists Attack? Nuke goes off and he’s president for the next 4 years. I would put nothing past him.

"They may not vote Republican, but if they're not enthused they may just stay home."

Staying home won't prevent them from voting for Obama.

Silly Rabbit...

Now, it’s even more common to see someone post that they support XXX and if YYY is nominated, they will not vote, and don’t care if Obama wins as a result, they need to “send a message”.

Interesting there are actually people who would not only sacrifice themselves to adhere to a principle but would also sacrifice others including their very own families for that same principal. Is it possible they actually are blind to what Obama is doing and what he intends to do? Not possible if they are a reasonably intelligent person and yet they will be content to see the world crumble around them and us while believing that it's OK because THEY stood by what THEY believed was right for THEM.

So let's see here. The latest Gallup and Rasmussen polling which has Romney beating Obama Ditto Santorum in one of them) and those same polls which have Obama sinking to 45% approval are meaningless? Why is that?

"For a newbie, you make good points."

Thanks, I think. being a "newbie doesn't mean I was born yesterday. In fact I have had quit a bit of experience in local and State politics and have learned enough over the past 40+ years to know the methods and goals of the opposition, one of which is to deliberately distort what is happening to demoralize the opposition. You may recall in 2010 on the day before the midterm elections there was an op ed piece in the NYT which explained scenarios by which not only would the Dems not lose any House seats but could actually GAIN a few. We all saw how that worked out.

” ... those same polls which have Obama sinking to 45% approval are meaningless? Why is that?”

Not meaningless. There is hope. The price of gas could awaken some of the dolts, even if the MSM tries to ignore it. And Obama seems to be really good at irritating people when he goes off script.

But, if we don’t unite, once the MSM starts the full on cheerleading and Obama sticks to the prompter, the sheeple will be drawn in as if by a hypnotist.

"Obama still has the MSM, black voters, "progressives", the 49% who don't pay taxes, and union's/government employees on his side. That's a hefty list that remains mostly intact despite any dissatisfaction."

He had these groups last time, didn't he? He also had the Independents by a margin of 67-33 in 2008. Currently he is polling at about 60-40 AGAINST him with these same Ind., almost a 180 turnabout. If as all the experts have always said, the race is won by attracting Independents, what does that say? He has also lost at least SOME Catholic voters with his birth control stance and he has lost at least SOME Jewish voters with his abysmal positions against Israel. Many here seem to think this will be a replay of 2008 where even with an adoring press and no record to critique he won by 6 points, hardly a landslide. This time he has a record and it sucks (see polling), he has not raised nearly as much money as he was last time and he has made public by his own words and actions his arrogance and condescending attitude, not to mention all the lies he has been caught in in the past 3.5 years. It is important to look PAST the media garbage and at such things as they the media cannot phony up. One of them is I have mentioned the overwhelming negative responses even on the most liberal websites whenever a story appears about him. The passion is there on the Right as I have never before seen it. Whether it is a passion driven by Ideology alone or hatred makes not one bit of difference. Passion is passion and this passion will translate into votes and votes are what win elections.

Sign up for organizing for America emails. You can see their propaganda for a while until you don’t donate any money, then they stop. Use a newly created email address. Don’t use a personal email or one that you want to keep.

They will surely sell this email list with the non responsive (No donation tied to the email)contacts for campaign cash.

1. Obama started African Americans for Obama.

2. Obama started a Spanish-language website.

3. Obama's energy policy is pure comedy. When Obama took office, gasoline averaged $1.89. Gasoline is now at its highest point in history, averaging $3.65 a gallon -- and it's getting higher.

4. Obama now supports super-PACs. Aside from the multitude of flip-flops or blatant "untruths," Obama has now decided that for the good of the country, he must embrace the idea of "buying his next election."

5. Obama has feigned shifting right. When a bona fide socialist begins talk of shifting right, you know he's panicked.

6. Obama began the Truth Teams, dismantling Attack Watch. Renaming Attack Watch is like renaming the Department of War the Defense Department. Attack Watch was a dismal failure, because the truth is not an attack.

7. Obama is changing his slogan. Realizing that "Yes We Can" has turned into "Well, I Thought We Could," and that "hope and change" now applies to getting rid of him, Obama must adjust his catchphrases.

8. Obama's foreign policy strategy is in shambles. Generally when a president has such a weak domestic agenda, he may be able to recover based on decent foreign policy.

9. Obama is talking tough. As the saying goes, the shallower the stream, the louder the babble.

10. There is no real improvement in any sector in America. Obama's biggest problem is that the economy is being held together with paperclips and Band-Aids.

11. Andrew Breitbart found dead at age 43.

12. The same day Breitbart dies, the bomb squad is called to Rush Limbaugh's house over a suspicious package.

13. This is just a day or two after Free Republic goes down for a day...

NO cheers, unfortunately.

You have adhered to the example set by Bill Clinton, that is, if you don’t like the message, attack the messenger.

Your third grade level rant is beneath what FR is supposed to be about.

No, you intellectual titan...Speaking personally I want to attack the way posters such as you and many others of late have forgotten the base ideology of sharing your thoughts. There was a day when "In My Humble Opinion" meant something.

FReeperland seems to be inhabited of late with keyboard "jeaniouses" who want to put there thoughts out there as "This is the truth and damn you for thinking otherwise."

Share your opinions brother, and God love you for doing so. But don't be a pompous ass by telling others you are the end all and do all, and if they have differing opinions they are beneath you.

I would, by far, respect your posting opinions more if you were not trying to tell others, sometime between the lines and other time on the surface that you ARE the authority on the matter...

Please consider leading, once again, with "IMHO".
