Well, the democrats have, once again, with help from their media buddies, muddied the waters and reframed the issue of Obamacare trampling on religious freedom. That issue can now be seen quickly disappearing in everyone’s rear-view mirrors.

Last night (March 1) on NBC Nightly News, this took place: Barbara Boxer, D-CA, said, “…they [religious organizations like Catholic hospitals] would no longer have to offer breast cancer screenings, cervical cancer screenings – all they have to do is say ‘Oh – I’m really sorry – we believe prayer is the answer…’”

Chuck Schumer, D-NY, said, “A Republican-led Senate might pass this bill; a Republican president, like Mitt Romney, would definitely sign it.”

Susan Brooks Thistlewhaite, former president of Chicago Theological Seminary, said, “Rights that women felt were settled -- I think, for nearly a generation -- have suddenly become contested again.”

Rush Limbaugh weighed in – the clip they showed of him was very unflattering (surprise, surpise) – and now women are chanting in the streets, holding signs and yelling “Our lives! Our bodies! Our rights!”

So the issue of religious freedom being threatened has now become the issue of women’s reproductive rights being threatened.

Democrats in Washington are surely slapping backs and high-fiving it for, whether because of liberal brilliance, simply dumb luck or a combination of both, this is an issue that could very well propel Obama right back into the White House in November and MAY even cause conservatives in the House and Senate their jobs in November.

The story had two parts:

Ms Boxer please, try not to be an ass....
You know that is not going to happen and it is very ignorant of you to publically make this comment. If you can not defend you position with logic and facts then maybe your position is wrong............

What Catholic institutions could say is "We're dropping health care insurance for our employees/students, and paying the $2000 fine in the case of employees. It's the logically consistent thing to do. Not to mention, it's a whole lot cheaper."

Let's see if they do it.

They [raving Marxist loons like Barbara Boxer, D-CA] would no longer have to obey or defend the Constitution they swore to protect, they could just implement a totalitarian police state by degrees -- all they have to do to justify it is to say `Women's reproductive health [sic] requires this'.

Makes as much sense. More, in fact.

Boxer's insanity won't go far in court, which is where this is headed.

One of the things that makes Barbara Boxer’s statement so stupid is that Birth Control Pills are a cause of Breast cancer.

Boxer is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Why do some women expect their fellow Americans to be forced to buy contraception for them?

This is being portrayed by the left as a Catholic issue: however on one level it’s simple Freedom of Association. Why should you be forced to subsidize other people’s sex lives?

I recognize of course that it isn’t just free contraceptives, but free abortifacients. And that really is a matter of faith and morals with the Church front and center. But the rest of America should get involved - they’re being robbed!

I wish boxer’s mother had exercised her “reproductive” rights those many years ago.

The issue isn’t she is wrong. She knows she is wrong. She is lying through her teeth and she knows it. Thing is, the media calls it truth and after everyone gets up in arms about it, sends it down the memory hole.

Then they go to the next lie.

Abortion! For or agin?

That is the reality. But the left aided by the media has framed the issue as anything but abortion. It is reproductive rights or choice or anything but reality.
