Boehner calls Limbaugh remarks "inappropriate"

House Speaker John Boehner distanced himself on Friday from Rush Limbaugh, calling the conservative radio host's words toward a women's rights advocate "inappropriate."

Amid a growing media firestorm over comments Wednesday by Limbaugh toward Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown Law student who testified before a Democratic panel on the use of contraception, Washington's top Republicans said through a spokesman that Limbaugh was wrong.

"The speaker obviously believes the use of those words was inappropriate, as is trying to raise money off the situation," Boehner spokesman Michael Steel said in a statement.

Social issues matter just as much, if not more, to REAL conservatives.

No sale.

“The establishment Republicans always....ALWAYS.... allow the Democrats to frame the debate. That is the main reason most are such losers.”

Exactly. Where Boehner fails spectacularly is not broadening the issue and taking a jab at the dims for all the teabagger nonsense. The Dims are brawling and in response we have twinkle toes Boehner as our leader. It seems Boehner is more concerned with damaging conservatives than he is in fighting the dims. We are in deep trouble.

Boehner is like McCain. I often wonder if they are the GOP’s own fifth column, working for the Democrats.

What is now happening is another (women) constituency trying to be BOUGHT with Taxpayer money, for their votes for The Messiah and the Progressive Agenda.

Unions, Blacks, Hispanics, Sex Deviates, Felons, Illegals, Teachers, etc., etc. have been systematically bought via handouts of borrowed-taxpayer dollars.

Think about it...it's all about VOTES.

Do women REALLY think they are above Sharia Law in being USED AT THE WHIM OF GOVERNMENT once they are "bought" to be nothing but tramps and sex receptacles?

Women think this (and abortion) is in THEIR interest? If they do, they truly are being dumb.

RE :”When the hell are we going to get someone in there who will FIGHT these liberals POSs on equal terms...

As you two friends well know I been posting since early 2009 that Boehner should have been replaced after the 2008 election, and certainly not made Speaker. There are plenty of reasons why this should have been done. I can only guess that no one in the House wanted the job. You can bet that no-one wants it now.

Here's what Boner SHOULD HAVE SAID:
It's not the House Speaker's job to review a talk show radio hosts monologue comments for content. I will leave that important job to the ex-Speaker Nancy Pelosi. We have important work to do, like undoing unconstitutional mandates

John noBoner has more things to worry about than what Limbaugh says. I wish someone would give him a clue.

He should be in the Senate as he is making Trent Lott and Bill Frist proud.

>>>>> "Where are the Tea Party congressmen?" <<<<

I'll tell you where mine is, after the Tea Party put him in by a huge margin: His wife, from what I've heard, runs the office and it's a known fact that he's on his second or third staff. They get hired then can't take it and hit the bricks. His first Chief of Staff even quit after the first couple of months.

You call or write him and you get back a boilerplate letter stating all he's done (which is nothing) and how hard he's working to help our District (which again is nothing). Enclosed with the letters are, of course, 'donate-to-my-campaign' cards. Now, on the radio day after day are ads saying how he went to Washington and is now a "NATIONAL L-E-A-D-E-R IN THE FIGHT TO TAKE BACK AMERICA". He's as much a NATIONAL LEADER as I am John Wayne.

This whore would have been totally ostracized just 50 years ago and prior to that, she might have been physically tarred and feathered by both men and women. She represents one of the many destructive forces that families face today and our society overall.

Rush is right and called a spade a spade or in this case a slut a slut. Give me a break is right. His disgust is shared by many of us; the difference is he has the megaphone to voice that disgust.

Boner, what a joke.
Are there no repubs with a back bone?
He should have said it was inappropriate for HIM
to comment and leave it at that.

What I find “unfortunate” is the utter lack of understanding simple English terms and the twisting of them into a pejorative when it clearly is not warranted.

The woman is a slut and the term is correct. If she takes umbrage at the term, then she is the one who should change their ways, not Rush. Rush dared to utter the truth and say what the bulk of the thinking populace saw or heard in this self-serving display of Ms. Fluke’s (and I use the term “Ms.” lightly) had in their hearts and minds also.

Boner is a BIG disappointment . . . . why not just keep his freakin’ mouth shut. He is doing exactly what the RATS want him to do. Create animosity between the R’s and Rush. They have nothing else on which to hand their hats. Get in the game Boner!!!
