Agreed and I stopped watching them, between the silly moderator questions and the candidates bickering back and forth like a bunch of “Gladys Kravitzs” I woke up probebly like most Republicans and checked the results online the next day.....

As bad as it would be, believe it or not, there are worse things than four more years of Obama.

Such as: “Conservatives” with absolutely no principles left.

Someone needs to educate Nugent about Romney’s awful record on 2A issues. STAT!

How could Nugent be ignorant of Romney's 2A record? I'm just incredulous...

A few days ago Beck asked him what type of candidate he wanted. He said “Someone who is not afraid to say Obama adheres to Saul Alinsky and who has the courage to say who Obama is and what he is doing to the country. I thought he was going to say Newt. Nope. It will be Romney. The guy who would never dream of mentioning Saul Alinksy!

I just don’t see Romney like that.....I think we need intelligent businessmen in the WH to restore economy....He’s no where near what that devil is doing to this country......

Me too. I just find it very hard to believe someone w/the unflinching belief that Ted Nugent has espoused for the 2nd Amendment would support Romney; especially given all the evidence of Romney's duplicity regarding the 2nd Amendment and other important issues.

Romney's well documented history of dirty tricks and negative campaign tactics show he is obviously NOT a “good man;” so, why would Ted further destroy his own credibility by stating a known falsehood?

I assume if Nugent pragmatically (and erroneously!!!) reached the conclusion that he had to endorse Romney because that was the only viable means of defeating Obama he would state it in those types of terms ...not some faux, pseudo-soul-searching, phony Romney's a “good man” BS.

As someone long active in the 2nd Amendment movement in Michigan, I can say that Ted Nugent is about money and publicity.

Some conservatives are going into reality check mode. They see Newt doesn’t have the numbers to win and they recognize that the left is going to throw everything they have to portray Rick as a crazy anti women religious fanatic. Sad, but those are the facts. Some people are facing them sooner rather than later. Even Palin has said in the past ABO.

“Mitt would do absolutely nothing to turn our Republic towards Liberty. I will not vote for Statists, no matter what party they belong to.”

In a worst case scenario, Romney would not even come close to the level of destruction and havoc that Obama will engage in if given four more years. Think far left US Supreme Court, unchecked executive power, even bigger government, and an inflationary spiral that would virtually destroy economic life as we know it. There will effectively be no more Constitution if Obama is re-elected; he will simply ignore it.

Agree with your post. Romney is not the ideal candidate but he clearly loves this country, is not a denizen of the DC establishment, has a business mindset, and stands a good chance of picking up the independent vote. Newt and Santorum are conflicted; they are part of a corrupt system that has brought the country to the verge of bankruptcy and ruined our childrens’ future.

Hey listen TROLL!
Mitt and his pretty little wife are up to their eyeballs in the blood of innocent children. (spit!)
Just because you enjoy worshiping at the alter of this baby killer and his creepy wife doesnt mean the country will.(spit!)

Get the hell off free republic!!!

If I were you, I would quit while I was behind. You will not win this argument, and will probably yourself banned from FR if you continue.

This is a conservative message board, and Romney is NOT a conservative.

You are obviously free to vote for whomever you choose in the privacy of a voting booth, but shilling for Romney here is an exercise in futility.

I attended a Tea Party meeting last night. Most everyone was resigned to the belief that the cardboard man would be the candidate. :(
