I just e-mailed the following message to the Media Relations department at Sleep Number:
“I first learned about Sleep Number beds and mattresses through your advertisements on Rush Limbaugh’s radio program. My wife and I were planning to purchase our first Sleep Number bed and mattress sometime this year. But after learning of your recent and hasty decision to pull your sponsorship of Limbaugh’s program in the wake of the Sandra Fluke controversy, we will no longer be purchasing a bed and mattress from Sleep Number. While you are free to make any business decisions you choose, we oppose your decision to cower to left-wing pressure and “political correctness” by throwing Mr. Limbaugh under the bus. After all, he is the reason my wife and I and millions of other Americans ever learned of your company and products.”

You dropped Rush???? IF IT WASN'T FOR RUSH, THERE WOULD PROBABLY NOT BE MORE THAN 4 OR 5 DOZEN PEOPLE IN THE COUNTRY WHO EVER HEARD OF SLEEP NUMBER. You people are obviously too stupid to be running Sleep Number. Better get your resume's ready, boys and girls, because when your board of directors kicks your butts out on the street, you'll be sitting on the curb with the rest of the trash, wondering where your next meal will come from. Perhaps you can go to OCCUPY WALL STREET and the White House, AFL-CIO, ACORN or the Democrat National Committee will pay you $50 per day to carry a sign and scream at the injustice. OR, if you are a S-L-U-T, you may be able to talk some other SLUTS into letting you share their lamp post. Having worked for a mattress company, you'll enjoy finding a customer to take you to a motel to do it on a mattress. Doubt if you will find a Sleep Number, though, as I understand they buy their mattress' from Good Will.
To do the right thing, you should pass on the following link to your employees, because with no Sleep Number sales (due to your firing RUSH), they will just be another statistic on the Unemployed List Survey and applying for food stamps. BUT, there is no doubt in my mind that 70 to 80 percent of them listen to RUSH now, and, will continue to do so. I feel for them, as they have to suffer because you're so STUPID.
