Citrix drops Rush sponsorship
Citrix Facebook ^ | March 2, 2012 | Brett Caine SVP GM

Posted on 03/03/2012 9:00:22 AM PST by Leroy S. Mort

Over the past day, we’ve heard from many great Citrix customers about our advertising on The Rush Limbaugh Show. These customers have expressed their growing concern that some of his recent comments seem inconsistent with the core values Citrix has always stood for – humility, integrity and respect.

While Citrix obviously does not control any show’s content or endorse opinions of their hosts, we do take the concerns of our customers seriously. When they are upset about something, we listen. After careful consideration, we have decided to discontinue our advertising on The Rush Limbaugh Show.

Sincerely,

Brett Caine

SVP and GM, Online Services Division

Well....I don't consider myself to be a leader...even tho I have been accused of it on occasion. So you're correct, I haven't done anything about it other than discuss it. Guilty as charged. But discussion comes before most actions, at least thoughtful ones...does it not?

And yeah, we're better informed re: the truth and the reality....but they have a wider network from which to receive the leftist lies. We need to get a centralized source for information. I thought the Tea Party might accomplish that, but the leftist media has managed to demolish that idea (their intent all along).

No, we need someone that IS a leader and that CAN galvanize us all behind one centralized effort to combat this assault on America by these leftists. I nominate Sarah Palin. But is she willing to take that baton and run with it? I'm betting so.

Don’t take this the wrong way because it is not personal but... you just demonstrated the problem. You agree what WE need to do but you aren’t doing anything about it (neither am I). You are waiting for someone else to “step up to that plate.”

A good communist Democrat would have jumped at the opportunity to be a part of a huge movement and take a grassroots leadership role. Conservatives just aren’t wired that way. That is the primary reason Democrats have shifted the American culture to the point it is unrecognizable from what it was just a generation ago. They seize every opportunity to organize a call to action. Conservatives are much better at just grumbling to each other and lamenting the past.

One small correction to what you said: “...well-informed as they are” We are much better informed. They are idiots that just happen to excel in pushing their agenda.

I just wish they’d put out a plain, no sugar, one then we could put as much or little in as we want-—maybe they now have.

As time goes on, I’m sure they will accommodate customer requests for some new products. They’re relatively new. Give em time.

Thanks for the information.

I have the older WRT Linksys routers modified with Tomato firmware.

I've never had the time to explore some of the advanced capabilities of this modified router software, like VPNs.

On the other hand, it might be time to upgrade to newer hardware, even though we are still 85% wired, in our usage.

Democrats have one huge advantage over conservatives — organization. At the drop of a hat Democrats can organize massive email, phone and letter writing campaigns to force their will upon “publicity conscious” advertisers.

And corporations who listen to them will learn this undeniable fact - they are cheap, whiny and want everything to be free. In the meantime, they've just pissed off the people who would actually be using their product --i.e. the productive and entrepreneurial conservative.

This is a huge opportunity for some start-up or smaller competitor. The mere mention of a product or service on Rush's show usually melts the lines as millions *rush* to check it out.

Have you called or emailed customer service? It sounds like an outstanding suggestion.

You nailed it again my friend!

This slut Sandra Fluke is 30 and goes to look for a college to go to. She shops around and finds that Georgetown, a Catholic college, does NOT offer student insurance coverage of birth control pills.

So THAT is the college she chooses to attend at $65,000 per year. But oh dear, she can't afford all the birth control pills she needs for her fun after her studies???? For what studies? Oh, a law degree??? But she is already a woman's rights activist?? Where did she get that degree I wonder??

Slut Sandra Fluke then just happens to show up in Congress to testify. And all the Socialist DEMS praise her as brave, wonderful, and Obama calls her in praise and tells her her parents should be so proud of her. Oh yes, so proud that she shopped for the Catholic college that she could MAKE AN EXAMPLE OF TO MAKE THEM provide what she needed, lots and lots of birth control pills!

I would join Rush in providing her birth control pills. God help us if this slut ever becomes pregnant. She would probably carry the baby to full term and birth, and then call Obama so she could have the US taxpayers pay for her partial birth abortion!

We have a Sleep Number bed, bought Snapple for years, have Bose radio,
bought Shari’s Berries (Pro Flowes) who were also threatening to leave Rush because of winey ass CHEAP liberals who have probably never bought anything from them.

They are on my boycott list if they left or threatened to leave!

Being a gamer, I prefer wired for gigabit connectivity. I have wireless setup for my fiancée to use, mostly, but it does help for me to get new Kindle books.

Dammit. Rush apologized.

Guess the leftists will now STILL demand that he be fired. You know how they all hate, loathe and detest apologies...lol!

Thanks!

I have never gotten a loan for anything from other than our local banks who know us and don’t put us through the third degree as if we were criminals.
