I understand what and why he is doing it, it is just wrong this time. We have 2 conservatives and 1 McCain candidate running and the conservatives are splitting the vote. If he would have endorsed Newt or Rick the other would have stepped down and combined the vote to defeat Mitt.
We end up with Mitt and we lose no matter what happens in the general. He has no Conservative principles, he only wants to moderate or give away your freedom for the greater good.
Lot’s of people in the movement were exposed this election and unfortunately so was Rush. His laughing at the lady who was begging him to endorse before the FL was one of those moments. He thought it was a big joke and then threw in his brother was endorsing Rick when his numbers were at 6%, hahaha.
That pretty much sank Newt when he was getting shellacked by 20 million in negative ads. It’s too late but he should still say which one of the two before Tues.

I will be watching Newt on MTP within a few mins. Just saw him on “Face The Nation” and he did a great job. He talked about how he plans to win and how many of the delegates are not legally bound. He mentioned Georgia, Texas and California. They brought Ron Paul on a few mins later. On the contraceptive issue RP said Obama wants to mandate everything and the Repubs are not much better. He said Rush was over the top and crude and only apologized because of his bottom line with the advertisers. He denied any deal worked out with Romney and said Santorum started that conspiracy theory and called Santorum a fake again because he voted for planned parenthood. Ron Paul is really slamming Santorum about being a fake on any interview he has. Like Mark Levin said. Ron Paul is not even a conservative and only has disdain for them so no conservative in this race will meet his approval.
Wallace’s interview/questions of Santorum was not just couched in how he compared to Romney/obama, but crossed over into either siding with Romney or essentially asking Santorum what’s wrong with him. LOL, he wasn’t even hiding it. Sad, because Wallace can be better than that.

NY Times dude - says he thinks dem. do have the upper hand on this issue, especially with women. Outside voices, particularly RUsh, has taken the economy issue away. Not sure how long-lasting this is.
Woman on the panel (did not catch her name) - This issue goes way beyond women’s health issues - gets to the heart of obama care. Dem’s are framing the issue that somehow you are being denied coverage (like the BC issue) because a company does not currently pay for that procedure/pill/whathaveyou. IOW, with govt mandating standards of what must be covered, they are creating a false illusion that you are being denied something when a company/institution does not want to cover it as part of their coverage. Govt mandates are behind rising cost of healthcare (Absolutely spot on!....and it’s by design).
Juan - politically this has exploded for Repubs.
Kristol - Repubs can win this argument, eventually.

Rush has been on how many years, and yet the political situation continues to deteriorate.
I like Rush. I don't want to dump on him. That said, Rush needs to re-evalute certain aspects of his presentation.

That we can’t afford the health care entitlements we have, much less start another entitlement (that is only tangentially related to healthcare). That we need to use our limited resources for those who are suffering from real illness.

IMHO Repubs need to keep pushing that it’s a 1st amendment issue. Most of them (that I’ve heard) say that it’s a religious conscience issue. While that’s true, I would say that most people (excluding FReepers) don’t understand what that means. They need to say that what Obama and Sebelius have done is in direct violation of the 1st amendent and explain why. ACLU and the athesists use that all the time. Our side really need to get better talking points (IMHO). At least Newt said something to the effect on MTP that it is NOT a womens’ health issue (which has been the talking point from the left & MSM this week).

Isn’t it just too “rich” that the Libs/Dems are adamant that there is a wall between church & state, thus anything pertaining to God needs to be off of walls, buildings, out of schools, gov’t, etc. UNTIL it comes to Obamacare & then it is perfectly acceptable for them to violate the Constitution and impose gov’t will on religious entities & upon religious peoples.
