Oh, and yes, I concur, they really have their act together. They hire well and pay well for fast food, and it really shows.
You might be thinking of Hobby Lobby. They are also not open on Sundays.

STFU you farging iceholes.
Chick Fil A- good
Indiscriminate anal sex- bad
I suddenly like them more.
Eat more chicken.
I won’t eat Tyson (knowingly) either - remember the situation in Shelbyville with the Somalians. I prefer my food not be processed by people who hate me. KFC uses Tyson - someone just recently told me that, but now they show it in their TV commercials.
I’ve never been to a Chick fil A. I avoid malls, which is where many of them are, I think.
Woodward Academy, class of 1971. I was a boarder from Savannah, GA.
Gonna get breakfast at a Chick-fil-a tomorrow!!!!!
You will be treated well by courteous employees. Take notice they will thank you for your business. I have taught a bible class every Tuesday morning at 0630 for the last 3-4 years in a Chick Fil A, eat breakfast, drink coffee, and chat. Nice clean place that welcomes us. When they closed down for two weeks, they asked us to go to one of their other locations. Some of the employees have been working there the entire time we have been going there. That speaks well for the management. The manager gave me Mr. T. Cathy’s book which I read and passed on to many others. (required reading for all of their managers.) Simple, to the point book, Christian oriented, that can be read in just a few hours. I recommend Chick Fil A.
And they make more noise than the other 98% of the population.
@RockvilleSteve: opposing homosexual Leftists pushing for para-constitutional non-existant so-called rights based on behavior choices bit.ly/xDmRlo
Nope; I’m not aware of HobbyLobby. I have been VERY aware of CFA for 30 years since my cousins got it 1st 2 hrs from us! We all LOVED it from the start and were hooked - unbelievable taste!
You can take a clue from the Homo "Rights" Crapola (HRC) list of homo-friendly companies to make your decision. Exxon looks like it's going to get a LOT more of my business (rated "0" on homo-"rights.")

Everyone please excuse me for this referral, but we must use it against them.
I love Chick-Fil-A! If they had any in New York, I’d go. However, when I move to MD later this year, I’ll have some nearby—finally!
Really? Good to know, because we’ve not bought Tyson chicken since Klintoon and his connections.
My mom will be SORELY disappointed - she loves KFC. But frankly, I hate our local store - they STINK at having all the food available all the time, on time, or getting orders right. I can’t tell you how I dread going there even for the simplest order. (We got a condolence coupon from KFC recently after my husband wrote to them and complained.)
I live off Truett Cathy Highway and eat at Chick-Fil-A at least twice a week.
Nice people.
When I lived in CT, there was no CFA. That was a big withdrawal for me. I get the impression New England still doesn’t have any CFA. I tinkered with the idea of bringing a CFA franchise up there, and making LOTS of money. But then I moved back. I am disappointed they are not “publicly traded” - I’d make money on a bit of stock. They are NEVER empty. People SWEAR by them.
Where are you moving? Welcome to the Once-Free State.
Thank you for the info! LOL
I’m rejoining American Family Association (afa.net), exactly because this thread spurred me back into it. It was so nice having scoops on who is bad or good.
I looked at the location map of CFA, and I think there are two in Massachusetts and one in New Hampshire, but all are quite a distance from me. I’ve heard nothing but good things about them.
The queers are just pissed off because Chik-fil-A only serves female chicks and not roosters by another name.
Yes! Thanks for bringing up the AFA. They have been very instrumental in making companies think twice about endorsing perversion. They have their finger on the pulse of corporate America when you can't.
Fort Meade area. Doing a recon in a couple of weeks to check out Colombia and Odenton.
Ah, army guy, huh? I kind of figured from your page!
Kolumbia has many flaws, but they still have a few CFA. In the mall, and a stand-alone a mile from me (best ratings). Also a stand-alone off 175, a few miles from the mall.
I don’t know about closer to Ft. Meade; you’ll have to Google!
I wish we had ‘em in Meeeechigan.
My mother-in-law’s senior group at church went on a ‘field trip’ to the Chick Fil A headquarters for a tour several years back. They happened to run into Truett Cathy and he spoke to them for a good bit. He asked where they were going for lunch and they said, “Chick Fil A, of course!” (they all LOVE Chick Fil A.)
They left in the church van and went straight to the nearby Chick Fil A. There were several tables set for the elderly ladies, complete with a Chick Fil A sandwich, waffle fries, sweet tea and a fried pie, compliments of Mr. Cathy!
Thank you, Mr. Cathy! They still remember your kindness and still speak so fondly of you!!
I had never tried Chick Fil-et until it was announced that the gays would boycot it.
I went there and tried their sandwicxh, It was deliscious, it was fast, the people were nice, and now every chance I get I go there.
It wouldbe interesting to know how many others feel the same way.
Chick-fil-A's business is serving food. If the company serves everyone who walks in their doors, how can they be called 'anti-gay'?
We have one Chic-Fil-A in our city. They are now up to three inbound lanes and are always busy, regardless of the time of day. KFC across the street has very few customers, even during the mealtime. We go to Chic-Fil-A 3 times a week and my grandson would eat all his meals there, given the option.
Any relation to George Soros' Media Matters?
The closest one to me, in MA, is the Burlington Mall. We just had a big new shopping center open near to us. I wonder if they could be persuaded to allow a Chick-fil-A, if one wanted to open there? I’d love to have one close to me; their sandwiches are delish, and their waffle fries are truly tasty!!
The author of the article also saw fit to brand it a “so called ‘homosexual agenda’”.
As if same sex marriage, homosexual couple adoption, gays in the military, insurance benefits for gay roommates, et all do not represent “Agenda” items.
Is Equality Matters an activist advocacy group? What do they advocate for if they have no agenda?
Should public universities be making politically charged decisions to blacklist certain restaurants? Is THAT a libertarian position?
I have not heard Ben & Jerry's getting kicked off of any campus.
Had my first Chick-fil-A this last summer when I visited Texas. It was in Conroe, north of Houston. Clean and tidy, friendly employees, and the food was excellent.
I wish to Heaven they had one in Washington state. But they’re not here for the same reason Cracker Barrel isn’t: bad business climate due to to taxes and state regulations. Drat.
I’m amazed that there aren’t more of them here. It could be that they’ve seen what has happened to other businesses that over-expanded, like Friendly’s.
Very Cool!! Yes, we are from the same area. (well, not Savannah)
All poultry is processed. That’s why poultry plants are called processing plants.
Do you mean you don’t eat poultry?
Or are you under the misunderstanding that CFL doesn’t use whole pieces of chicken?
Now only is he kind, but smart. Those ladies remembered that and have been good customers ever since.
Advance Auto Parts, a few years ago opened up a store near me. Right across from a Auto Zone. I stopped in with my mentally handicapped sister-in-law. They had balloons everywhere for the opening and my sister-in-law wanted one. I asked to buy one and was told they weren’t for sale. However, when checking out, the manager GAVE me 2 of them for her. I went there FIRST every time I needed car stuff for a long time.
Wow!
Will be eating there soon.
“If they’re anti-gay, that’s just a bonus!”
I say the the next FReeper get together should be held at a Chick-fil-A.
BTW, you’re right. Their sandwiches are top-notch, plus Diet Dr. Pepper in the soda machine! (It’s the only fast food joint that Mrs. Absolutely Nobama will go to. They have my full support!)
Yes, they all still eat at CFA every chance they get. We are all diehard Chick Fil A fans here. They have Dwarf Houses here which was the name of the original Chick Fil A and have homemade fried pies- sweet potato, apple and peach. They have cherry seasonally and they all all the b0mb diggety.
There are also anniversary restaurants called Truett’s Grill and they are soooo cool!!! They look like they are from the 1950’s.
If they're anti-gay, that's just a bonus!
Good food disease free!?!? Color me happy!!
Yeah, I hated to see Friendly’s go. They had good ice cream, at decent prices, from their take-out windows. The kids enjoyed going there for supper, because the kids’ meals had ice cream treats as part of the price.
I believe Chick-fil-A is pro-Christian...
I’ve never had them question me on my sexual preferences when buying a sandwich from them. Gee, I wish I had a sandwich of theirs right now!
Two of my cousins from Peachtree City attended Woodward later in the 70s.
Great but... why oh why are you moving to Maryland????
