Destroy Russia's statehood . . . ? He's got no problem destroying the statehood of others, e.g. Georgia and the Ukraine . . .

He’s not the only one crying. Any chance for Russia to evolve into a truly representative state are now gone.

I’d vote for him if I were Russian. No doubt he cares more about Mother Russia than our worthless Soros sock puppet cares about us.

Unlike W, I see something reptilian in those eyes. He’s sounding rather über-nationalist these days, plus pulling the Christian card, and I’ve never sensed one iota of humility or forgiveness about him. Be very wary. Hitlerian is not overkill as a descriptor.

NOTHING changed. They are still a nation ruled by a small elite whose entire security apparatus and economic system revolves around. The rest of the people are slaves, who today simply get the sexual and some of the media freedoms not enjoyed when the iron curtain was up. Sex and drugs are often used to control people- the masses. Now they simply are the heads of companies like Gazprom etc. Instead of party chairmen they are called CEO... Comical.
