A flower company is the seventh advertiser to pull its ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program in reaction to his derogatory comments about a law student who testified about birth control policy.

ProFlowers said Sunday on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program...

I would bet that these companies that are fleeing the Limbaugh show are only going to harm themselves in the long run since a majority of their clients come from his show.

I guess only time will tell how powerful Limbaugh’s show and his listeners are.

Levin and Hannity should drop the advertisers who dropped Rush.

Rush has jumped the shark.

We hear about the dropped sponsors. I’d be willing to bet that twice as many are asking Rush to let them advertise on his show but of course Lame Street Media won’t report that. Can’t wait to listen today.

Now there’s space on the show. Other advertisers will come aboard.

You can expect these DIVERSIONS from the economy, gas prices, the Debt, etc. from now until November to intensify.

Using the slut Fluke to try to secure un-informed women's votes, black votes, illegals' votes, etc. will be the goal, and it will work because the State-Run-Media will promote The Agenda.

You have heard NOTHING (like the Fraud investigation findings of Joe Arpaio) on the State-Run-Media.

Just like the Friday Document Dumps, the Progressives are controlling the dialog, deflecting from the Reality of the destruction of America.

That's not a "Conspiracy Theory"; that's a FACT.

I also hope that if any of them come back in a few months begging to advertise after watching sales and net income fall, Rush tells them to go pound sand.

I hope every Sleep Number customer within their 90 day free trial period returns the damned bed. ESPN Radio is advertising a cheaper knock off of that bed now anyway.

I am going to try and get money back from Valentine’s Pro Flowers order. Don’t they have a guarantee too? I’m going to find out.

I actually had a local florist do up a bouquet of long-stemmed roses for my lady on Valentine’s Day. I’d forgotten to get on ProFlowers to order, but they were able to fill my order with less than 24-hours notice. The bouquet was absolutely gorgeous, which is a lot more than I can say about ProFlowers somewhat impersonal box and need to organize the bouquet oneself.

I think that was a blessing in disguise.

Good that Pro Flowers is gone. I find that they engage in false advertising and bait and switch, and I have been engaged in my own personal boycott of them for the last 5 years. You all are welcome to join me.

So Limbaugh caves to the PC crowd for nothing ...

He would have fared better if he had stood his ground. This way, he's betrayed his enemies and his friends.

But these advertisers need to know that it's not only the Left that can bring pressure. Under no circumstance should anyone who supports the accuracy of Limbaugh's statements give these cowards one red cent of their money.

“Dems and the MSM set the usual trap and the Republicans run right into it again!”

Apparently, they can’t help themselves.

Why is the bait so enticing that they walk right into it every time?

Just asking.

This is what I posted to the Facebook page for

ProFlowers

. If you agree, please give it a thumbs up!

Big mistake! Sandra Fluke is a 30 year old activist who testified before a hearing set up by Nancy Pelosi in regards to the HHS mandate which would force religious institutes to provide access to insurance carriers that provided coverage of contraceptives and sterilization and abortion-inducing drugs.

Pelosi's goal for the hearing was to distract from Obama's direct attack against religious freedom with his HHS abortion mandate. Not only didn’t she get caught without contraception at Georgetown, but specifically knew the university didn’t cover it and chose to attend for precisely that reason. Rush called her on it!

If someone finds buying $0.25 condoms and $8 for a month supply of generic birth control pills a financial burden, how many times are they likely to spend $39.95 for a dozen roses each month?

I'm disappointed with Rush for apologizing. He's not making more of a profit margin on the tea than from his advertisers?

It was not totally clear that the (self appointed?) spokeswoman Fluke was living like an alley cat. She might be if she’s on the Pill all the time, but my guess is that in order to be let into the limelight she has no documented personal sex scandal and is doing it just in case “Mr. Right” comes along and they can’t wait. (That would be a lousy boyfriend by any sane light.) And the Pill isn’t that horribly expensive. A few years ago at least, $40 would have sufficed to get a year’s worth in 90 day batches from Wal-Mart, plus whatever she paid the doctor to write the Rx (which might be minimal if this is a campus medical service). So is she personally a “slut” in the original sense — that might be a premature conclusion.
