I agree with Trump on this. Will cultivates the “I am so smart” image but he is just a status quo guy.

George Will is still a great writer when the topic is baseball.

Politics? Not so much. Remember, he has to toe the line to maintain his employment as the token conservative of the Washington ComPost.

Will is saying that neither Romney nor Santorum are likely to win the election.

Just looking at electoral vote web sites, Will is crazy.

Obama can count on winning about 12 states for sure, with about 175 electoral votes. The Republicans have strong support in all the states McCain carried, for 175 electoral votes right there, and the unknown Republican is ahead in the polls in a few other states too.

Almost all of the “battleground” states this time appear to be states which Obama won last time, and in which he is now vulnerable.

To look at the landscape, and declare that Obama’s going to win, and that we should just concentrate on Congress instead, seems like such a bogus strategy. I just don’t get where Will is coming from. This presidential election will be close, and is winnable for the Republicans.

On FOX & Friends this morning Donald Trump reacted to George Will's column suggesting that Republicans should focus on taking back the Senate and keeping the House rather than pay attention to winning the presidency.

Winning the presidency is more important than having the house and Senate.

Obama has his minions in place, they are heading big Govt. agencies for the last 3 years, so they know how to work the system, and they along with Obama will rip this country apart in the next 4 years.
We need a president to stop this. -Tom

Forgetaboutit! Trump is wrong if he thinks Obama-lite Willard will beat the real Obama.

I think The Donald by backing loser Romney is smartly banking on a new course in the SLC metro.

Mormons, ya been punked or let’s say, used by the the New Yorker. But you will get a Trump Resort out of it.

I disagree. Will is intellectually brilliant and a great writer. His vocabulary is extensive, and he arranges his words to convey the precise meaning intended. Unfortunately, he is not a conservative. Will believes that elitists in the government have both the right and the duty to live our lives for us, since they will make better decisions to meet our needs than we would on our own.
