Sometimes it takes one to know one. Fox Business Network’s Imus In The Morning host Don Imus—who knows a thing or two about public apologies—didn’t find Rush Limbaugh’s weekend mea culpa to Sandra Fluke particularly convincing.
Imus’ take: “A lame apology on his website, in which he says he didn’t mean to personally attack her, is gutless.” Imus took issue with Limbaugh’s “sustained, vile, personal attack” on Fluke over three days, and said that if he’s going to apologize, you have to “go sit down with her.”

Loved how he started the show by saying the line was busy when he tried to call himself to cancel his Two If By Tea sponsorship! I will have to figure out how to buy some tea.
I think that if Rush had been following God's rules, he'd never have been compelled to apologize. But nobody's perfect, not Rush nor Santorum nor Gingrich. I look at women like Fluke and I thank God because I remember that there but for the Grace of God go I. I worry for women like Fluke, I pray for them, I see what an enormous tragedy it is that they live the way they do, in part because once a long time ago, I lived a little bit like that myself and am SO GRATEFUL to GOD that He rescued me, a sinner supreme who deserved His salvation no more than Fluke, but who received it anyway. It is why while I certainly judge others in order to help myself make better decisions, I REFRAIN from judging others in areas where I know in my heart that such judgment, like vengeance, belongs SOLELY to God.
Rush could have made the same point without giving in to the temptation of vengeance, anger, and casting the first stone at Fluke. Indeed, Rush lost because he ignored God's rules. He sowed anger and judgment, and thus he reaped the same.

I know. I was just like that lady for years, ignoring my Leftist relatives’ hate-filled political posts. I think some of them don’t know quite what hit them when I started saying what I think the last couple of weeks. We just need to speak up wherever we can. The time for being extraordinarily polite is over. I’m just done after the Komen thing, the HHS mandate, the Romney slime, and now Rush. I’m just done putting up with the Left’s nonsense!
