Sandra Fluke a Self-Described Professional Pro-Abortion Activist
Life News ^ | March 5, 2012 | Ethika Politika

Remember the Georgetown Law student, Sandra Fluke, who was forced to suffer through $3,000-worth of protected sex during her stint at law school? Turns out, there’s a bit more to the story.

According to some sources, Fluke might just have been a well-placed fake. Not exactly the young-and-helpless female law student most took her for, Fluke’s LinkedIn profile speaks for itself:

With a six year hiatus between her undergraduate time and GT Law, Fluke is probably closer to 30. And she’s had plenty of involvement with the pro-contraception agenda. A Feminist, Gender, & Sexuality Studies major at Cornell, Fluke is also a past president of Law Students for Reproductive Justice. While she’s presented herself in persona a woman suffering because of Georgetown’s policies, it’s more likely that Fluke has had her sights set on the school for quite a while.

In fact, it’s almost certain.

One Washington Post blogger published the following on 16 February:

Fluke came to Georgetown University interested in contraceptive coverage: She researched the Jesuit college’s health plans for students before enrolling, and found that birth control was not included. “I decided I was absolutely not willing to compromise the quality of my education in exchange for my health care,” says Fluke, who has spent the past three years lobbying the administration to change its policy on the issue. The issue got the university president’s office last spring, where Georgetown declined to change its policy.

Fluke says she would have used the hearing to talk about the students at Georgetown that don’t have birth control covered, and what that’s meant for them. “I wanted to be able to share their stories,” she says. “My testimony would have been about women who have been affected by their policy, who have medical needs and have suffered dire consequences.. . .The committee did not get to hear real stories I had to share, about actual women who have been dramatically affected by this policy.”

What did transpire, though, was a phone call from the Oval (read: Home) Office in support of Fluke’s plight, and encouraging her for “speaking out about the concerns of American women.” According to the White House, Obama’s concerns followed directly upon Rush Limbaugh’s disparaging remarks, naming Fluke as a “slut,” a “prostitute,” and as “having so much sex she can’t pay for it.”

Among others, one result of this curious turn of fact is the almost indefensible position opened up to by the president of Georgetown University, John D. DeGioia. The president, who has spoken out in defense of Fluke against her conservative rivals, now has to face the very loud music of welcoming and advocating a knowing instigator into his midst. If Fluke came to Georgetown precisely to cut her legal teeth on the school itself, DeGioia’s stance seems at best dichotomous. On the one hand, he’s responsible for defending the school’s policies; on the other, he’s (apparently) been party to an intentional and knowing act of subversion.

What’s more, if President Obama has at all been privy to the Fluke situation—and it’s hard to believe he wasn’t, since he felt confident enough to pay her a personal phone call—what has become of the highest office in the land?

If it turns out that Sandra Fluke was just a fake, perhaps not much will change. But doubtless, the implications of what has and is happening in the contraceptive wars will be upped substantially. More than anything, Fluke continues the narrative of The Big Lie, that a segment in this country seeks to make contraception illegal for all women. It is a scorched earth policy that is as likely to leave its practitioners in infamy as it is to succeed in advancing the agenda.

Ms. Fluke, like Gabby Giffords is a fifteen minute burnout. Neither woman matters one iota when compared to the severe and deadly problems that our nation faces!!! I do not give either one a thought!!! And...if the low life Democrat “dirt bags”, Obama included, think they are going to bring Rush Limbaugh down they are sadly mistaken!!!

my local news last night said this”Rush Limbaugh has had his sponsors pull out after he accused a female 25 year old student of being a prostitute and a slut”

The camera went on to the two women anchors and one of them was rolling her eyes and showing disgust at Rush.

Now they never bothered to mention the women is 30, an activist, who was lying, who wants 3 grand for her contraception paid for by tax payers and how she can afford to go to Georgetown but can’;t afford a condom.

Of course no MSM is also mentioning that she lied, she was there as an activist, how much sex is she having for 3 grand and this is about forcing people to pay for her sexual life or how she went to Georgetown to overturn their health care.

NAIL ON HEAD

Why do we always let the left define the language of an issue, dream act, gay, abortion and now contraception.

No this is about making people pay for her sex life, making religious types ignore their religion, ignoring the 1st amendment.
The GOP and many on the right including talk radio sit there and use the lefts language and words knowing full well the left always take positive words and use them for their agenda or frame an issue to suit them and their agenda

If Sarah and Col Allen west was our nominees the left could not say the right are against women but yet again the establishment screw things up and back their north east liberal.

What is it with the talk radio or some of them and the GOP, why can;’t they mention what companies promote like home depot promoting the homo agenda or how the left attacks certain women on the right and why on earth can;t they mention about the MSM being biased?

that is why many on the left do.

They join the MSM, teaching, judges etc just to promote their agenda and do lawsuits.

We on the right seem unable to even do a boycott of home depot let alone get all of talk radio and sites liek this to unite.

We need a mailing list with all conservative sites and have talk radio telling listeners and people like us on these sites to target and send to a certain lefty company or MSM channel and then target their sponsors like the left does and see how the left likes their own games played back at them.

Of course we have the likes of Hannity who would rather have his left wing elitist pals or the establishment pals on his show and go to their cocktail pro cross dressing, homosexual parties than unite us all on the right and send tens of thousands of mail a day to a certain channel or certain sponsor or a certain company .

One aspect of this that hasn’t gotten much attention is that students are not employees of Georgetown U, they are customers, and the fact that they have any medical plan at all is a benefit, not a right. I am a regular customer of Fred Meyer stores, but they don’t provide me with a medical plan! Unfair!

Perhaps the Womens Lawyers Assocation of Los Angeles should have its tax exempt status terminated. They're funding Ms. Fluke's scholarship, not as an educational endeavor, but as a partisan political operation.

Sunshine is definitely the best disinfectant.

Her and women like her always claim they don’t need a man.

Then why do they need birth control or condoms?

Look at the resume this intern has. Legal has nothing to do with it, because she doesn’t have a license. She’s a fricken intern, end of story.

She’s an activist. Evidently she’s hoping to get into acting.

At the Oscars this year, and no there is no mercy on this night, as my wife has to watch, the actors are all starting to list their job description as actor and activist.

In fact I get a real kick out of these human crud, when the women all claim to be actors all night long, and then beam with pride when they’re named to the category of Best Actress.

Best actress? Say what? There’s no such thing these days babes. YOU said so.

Liberal women are so ——— up.

Sandra Fluke admitted openly, to a congressional committee, that she is openly and extremely promiscuous.

The definition of slut is: “A person, particulalry a woman, considered to be sexually promiscuous.”

So, by her own admission and testimnony she meets the definition.

Perhaps Rush could have been more circumspect or polite in his dialog...but this woman is being used...willingly...to try and change the very fabric of both our freedoms and our mores. She is, wittingly or unwittingly, an enemy to the very fabric of our free society. To speak directly to such is not a crime, and should not be shyed away from.

I do not believe Rush owed an apology. He should simply have explained it in these very direct and factual terms and indicated that if Sandra does not want to be considered by others to be the very deifinition of a slut, then perhaps she should not act like one and openly admit to being that very thing, before congress no less.

Words have meaning. Actions have consequences.

When I was youung, this type of behavior was considered very wrong and looked down upon. It led to broken families and bastard children who had one or two strikes against them (and even today, if you look at the statistics, the same holds true) from the get go. Such behavior was called the wrong it is and society sought to limit it as a result.

Now today, the people engaged in such behavior not only do not want it called wrong, they want to be held up as an example of courage to do what they “feel”. And President’s (at least this one) points to it and lauds it and disparages those who call it what it really is.

Well, it turns our Miss Fluke is an activist on these matters. She considers and calls herself a, “reproductive rights activists,” whatever that means...though it is clear that she is not in favor or advocating reproduction at all...but the opposite. It also turns out that she advocates for the public, meaning all of us taxpayers, to be put on the lamb to pay for all gender change operations that anyone desire too. But that part of her agenda isn’t being discussed...yet.

The only reason that Sandra Fluke was trotted out now was to whip up the contraception issue to destroy Rick Santorum. That’s it. The damage to Rush Limbaugh and the assist that this issue provided to Obama was only a side effect.

We need to focus on the activism. She did not admit to being promiscuous - here’s the money quote from her testimony: “Without insurance coverage, contraception, as you know, can cost a woman over $3,000 during law school. For a lot of students who, like me, are on public interest scholarships, that’s practically an entire summer’s salary.”

A close reading (remember - she’s training to be a lawyer) shows that she doesn’t directly state that she PERSONALLY experienced any of this. Read the rest of her testimony - it’s all about “women told me” this, and “we were told” that - complete and utter hearsay that can’t be proved or disproved.

Rush screwed up in focusing on this woman’s sex life - she never actually said anything about her personal situation. The issue is that she is a far-left Democrat operative who was used to help create a narrative that “Republicans hate women!!” with a whole bunch of completely fabricated stories about cost, hardship, etc.
