Sandra Fluke a Self-Described Professional Pro-Abortion Activist
Life News ^ | March 5, 2012 | Ethika Politika

LifeNews Note: Reprinted with permission from Ethika Politika, the blog of the Center for Morality in Public Life.

Remember the Georgetown Law student, Sandra Fluke, who was forced to suffer through $3,000-worth of protected sex during her stint at law school? Turns out, there’s a bit more to the story.

According to some sources, Fluke might just have been a well-placed fake. Not exactly the young-and-helpless female law student most took her for, Fluke’s LinkedIn profile speaks for itself:

With a six year hiatus between her undergraduate time and GT Law, Fluke is probably closer to 30. And she’s had plenty of involvement with the pro-contraception agenda. A Feminist, Gender, & Sexuality Studies major at Cornell, Fluke is also a past president of Law Students for Reproductive Justice. While she’s presented herself in persona a woman suffering because of Georgetown’s policies, it’s more likely that Fluke has had her sights set on the school for quite a while.

In fact, it’s almost certain.

One Washington Post blogger published the following on 16 February:

Fluke came to Georgetown University interested in contraceptive coverage: She researched the Jesuit college’s health plans for students before enrolling, and found that birth control was not included. “I decided I was absolutely not willing to compromise the quality of my education in exchange for my health care,” says Fluke, who has spent the past three years lobbying the administration to change its policy on the issue. The issue got the university president’s office last spring, where Georgetown declined to change its policy.

Fluke says she would have used the hearing to talk about the students at Georgetown that don’t have birth control covered, and what that’s meant for them. “I wanted to be able to share their stories,” she says. “My testimony would have been about women who have been affected by their policy, who have medical needs and have suffered dire consequences.. . .The committee did not get to hear real stories I had to share, about actual women who have been dramatically affected by this policy.”

What did transpire, though, was a phone call from the Oval (read: Home) Office in support of Fluke’s plight, and encouraging her for “speaking out about the concerns of American women.” According to the White House, Obama’s concerns followed directly upon Rush Limbaugh’s disparaging remarks, naming Fluke as a “slut,” a “prostitute,” and as “having so much sex she can’t pay for it.”

Among others, one result of this curious turn of fact is the almost indefensible position opened up to by the president of Georgetown University, John D. DeGioia. The president, who has spoken out in defense of Fluke against her conservative rivals, now has to face the very loud music of welcoming and advocating a knowing instigator into his midst. If Fluke came to Georgetown precisely to cut her legal teeth on the school itself, DeGioia’s stance seems at best dichotomous. On the one hand, he’s responsible for defending the school’s policies; on the other, he’s (apparently) been party to an intentional and knowing act of subversion.

What’s more, if President Obama has at all been privy to the Fluke situation—and it’s hard to believe he wasn’t, since he felt confident enough to pay her a personal phone call—what has become of the highest office in the land?

If it turns out that Sandra Fluke was just a fake, perhaps not much will change. But doubtless, the implications of what has and is happening in the contraceptive wars will be upped substantially. More than anything, Fluke continues the narrative of The Big Lie, that a segment in this country seeks to make contraception illegal for all women. It is a scorched earth policy that is as likely to leave its practitioners in infamy as it is to succeed in advancing the agenda.

Well I guess if you are going to refuse to use birth control unless it is provided to you for free then you would have to become a pro-Abortion activist.

But honestly, by looking at her, it doesn’t seem like she has a dog in this fight on either issue.

Wait till Ann Coulters column this week. Without a doubt she will do a major expose on this slut, reveal every little inch of her life. Ann flips out anytime someone goes after Rush and just eviscerates anyone who does.

If Fluke can’t afford contraceptives she can follow in Lewinski’s footsteps and buy herself some kneepads for cheap.

Guaranteed safe sex every time.

Peter Schweizer on the overlooked money angle in the contraception wars, and Big Pharma’s role in driving the debate.
“This mandate is not really about condoms or generic versions of ‘the pill,’ which are available free or cheap in lots of places. This is about brand-name birth control drugs and other devices that some consumers swear off because they are too expensive. The Health and Human Services (HHS) mandate requires health-insurance companies provide contraceptive coverage for all ‘FDA approved contraceptive methods.’ It does not insist on generics. And it does not offer any cost containment.

The invisible hand working behind the scenes of the HHS mandate:” It’s important to point out that among President Obama’s biggest financial backers are precisely the Big Pharma companies who benefit from the mandate. Sally Sussman, head of government affairs for Pfizer, is one of his biggest campaign bundlers, who co-hosted a fundraiser for Obama on Thursday night. Pfizer sells numerous contraceptives that now must be covered by health-care plans. Obama’s financial ties to the pharmaceutical...

Fluke is a “slut” and a “prostitute.” She wanst to be paid tax dollars to have sex. These two words are therefore accurate.

From FOX News: The rush to censor Limbaugh

So why are the Left and the media still pushing and publicizing a campaign for advertisers to dump the Limbaugh show and end his career?

Because it has little to do with his words. This is all about disingenuous politics. Liberals want this government-mandate controversy to be not about religious liberty, which is devastating, but about contraceptives, which works in their favor.

That is intellectually dishonest.

They want to position conservatives as “anti-women.” That’s as ugly as it is untrue.

Everyone remembers Ed Schultz calling Laura Ingraham a “slut” on his radio show.

Fellow talk show host Mike Malloy hoped Sarah Palin “drives herself into madness” and insisted Michele Bachmann is an “evil bitch from Hell” who would have gladly supervised the Holocaust.

Montel Williams rooted on Air America for Bachmann to slit her own wrist or throat.

Randi Rhodes insisted that teenage boys weren’t safe from Palin’s advances if they stayed over at her house. There’s no news coverage or “war on women” narrative when the mud-covered women are conservatives.

Maybe these hosts aren’t prominent enough?

Then consider the case study of Bill Maher, who’s welcomed all over TV news shows.

A year ago on his HBO show, he called Sarah Palin a “dumb twat.”

He followed up days later in a Dallas stand-up routine by calling Palin the C-word.

Last July on HBO, he said Palin was “a bully who sells patriotism like a pimp, and the leader of a strange family of inbred weirdos.”

Last September on his show, Maher said Palin would have sex with Rick Perry if he was black.

Days after he called Palin the T-word, he appeared with then-CNN host Eliot Spitzer, where Spitzer concluded, “Your show is brilliant. I love watching it.”

On Sunday, Democratic Party chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz huffed on “Meet the Press” that "I don't know any woman in America that thinks that being called a slut is funny." But two months ago, she accepted an invitation to sit on the set with the man who called Palin a “c---.”

A couple of years ago, “comedian” Louis CK “joked” on the Opie and Anthony radio show about Palin coming to the Republican convention “holding a baby that just came out of her f-ing, disgusting [C-word], her f-ing retard-making [C-word]. I hate her more than anybody,” he said.

On Twitter, this “comedian” attacked Palin in 2011 as a “f—ing jackoff [C-word]-face jazzy wondergirl” who “has a family of Chinese poor people living in her [C-word] hole.”

Guess which event this same fellow is headlining in June? -- The Radio and Television Correspondents Dinner.

WHERE'S THE OUTRAGE?!?!?

That's why 20-somethings are far more interested in ‘health benefits’ than when I was that age. She may be including ‘maintenance’ costs along with contraception.”

I'm afraid you're right.

The $3,000 cost for three years in law school didn't come out of thin air. I've been wondering since this story broke where that number came from.

Sexual promiscuity carries the risk of diseases, some of them quite painful and a few of them fatal. Unfortunately for America, our young people in college are so grossly promiscuous that from a secular perspective, health coverage is becoming essential for their own safety and that of others.

Things were bad enough when I was in college. The things I am hearing from my college-age relatives now are beyond the worst things I saw nearly thirty years ago. For example, one of my relatives tells me she's the only woman she knows in her entire university who is not using birth control and not sexually active. This is not some left-wing liberal campus; it's a fairly conservative state university in the South. I was certainly in the minority when I was in college by being committed to not having sex before marriage, but at least I knew a few other guys and a significant minority of women who agreed with me. Now, as far as my relative knows, she's completely alone in her commitment.

If we think that's not hard for our young people to stand out from the crowd, we're kidding ourselves. America is in serious trouble, and it's not getting any better.

Although Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke testified to the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee last month that contraception can cost a law student $3,000 over three years and that some of her fellow students could not afford it, a Target store only 3 miles from the law school currently sells a month's supply of birth control pills for only $9 to people who do not have insurance plans covering contraceptives.

She also, apparently, believes that it is discrimination deserving of legal action if "gender reassignment" surgeries are not covered by employer provided health insurance. "...................

Taking a page from Bill Maher’s protected free TV speech on Sarah Palin, I hereby describe Fluke as a “Stupid C**t.”

And I will not apologize either, since Maher did not.

Funny thing is, that Sandra Fluke isn’t going to have to worry about paying for birth control any more because of the money she’ll be saving on all the free drinks sent to her in bars from now on.

Surprised she didn’t seek funding for male prostitutes; don’t see a crowd of guy trying to shoo the flies off her. Glad she showed up on The View and laid her agenda, and that of her handlers, out for everyone to see. Not that the air-heads are capable of adding up the figures.
