Mikey's been tilting that windmill for years. I remember when he first started at WLS in Chicago. His program was actually halfway interesting much of the time. Then, at some point, he decided to make it his sole mission in life to "respond" to Limbaugh's program. He went from listenable to unlistenable virtually instantly.
That was 15 years ago, and while Rush is still on the air, Malloy has gone into "progressively" (pun intended" smaller markets one after another. It seems that the embittered man-gina has to say something putrid every so often just to remind his remaining half-dozen listeners that he hasn't died overnight.
