Atlanta, GA Pastors and faith leaders from throughout Georgia including from more than a dozen churches announced Monday they are personally endorsing Newt Gingrich in Tuesdays Republican primary and joining his Faith Leaders Coalition.
The pastors include Dr. Richard Lee, pastor of First Redeemer in Cumming, Dr. Michael Youssef, an Atlanta Christian author and broadcaster, and the Rev. Benny Tate of Rock Springs Methodist in Milner, Ga.
Lee, Youssef and Tate are national co-chairs of Gingrichs Faith Leaders Coalition. They will be working with the new Georgia faith leaders on Gingrichs advisory coalition.
Our nation sorely needs a President who not only says he believes in God but takes faith with him to the Oval Office every day, said Dr. Lee. Newt Gingrich is that man. And he will be the type of President to protect our right to worship without Washington interference. Religious freedom is what makes America exceptional, and Newt will make sure that freedom remains secure.

And RuPaul is a total shill for Mittens. I SO wish he’d get out, but he’ll pull a Huckabee.
I feel sorry for you that you would make such a facetious claim and being able to back it up.
Since you seem to be lacking in the facts (a common thread thru many of your previous posts), I’ll help you out. I’m happy single. Have never been married. Been in a long-term relationship for 8 years with a woman named Lori.
Are we good now? If so, maybe its time to STFU.
I can't imagine digging ourselves out of this hole without him in the lead!
The only claim I made is that normally such is the case, and I will stand by that: normally this is absolutely the case. That I mused it may apply to you, and that such musings struck a chord, tells us what it tells us. And FTR, you were removed by the mods on this thread on at least one, and maybe two comments for YOUR abject nastiness - a distinction I have NEVER had. Congrats.
I did not attack you, I nearly asked you a question and then I outlined the circumstances that I felt applicable to your original comment.
If I offended you, I apologize. It was not my intent. We are all grownups here and I believe we are looking for the same outcome, an America without Barack Obama as President.
You are a Rick guy and if he wins the Primaries, I will be a Rick guy too. Most everyone you accuse of attacking you will most likely join you and I in Voting for Rick if he pulls it off.
Nope, not the reason. But yes I know Newt. And I dislike him tremendously. Not bashing, just saying that he has zero chance to win.
He should have endorsed Rick ages ago...
“Like most Newt bashers, you can provide no substantive explanations for your opposition to Newt. “
Where should I begin? He’s another Washington fraud, cheats on his wives, panders atrociously to whomever he needs to ($2.50 gas, Lunar Colony, etc...He can provide none of these things), he was run out of the speakership in disgrace, he’s an angry man which will hurt him in the eyes of many, oh yea and he’d never be able to beat Obama.
There’s plenty more reasons, but I have to get back to work.
“YOU who are without blemish”
You’re a newby, bud.So where have you been all these years?Oh and you know Newt? Is that so? Whats your problemn with him? Your post is fishy, really fishy.
I am not running for prez.
Read Newts’ heart, Steve...how do you know that Newt has not asked the Lord for forgiveness? I don’t know the man, nor his heart.
As a sinner, I can take his word.
You don’t know me; I hate my enemies, I will never turn the other cheek; I covet my neighbors’ race car, but I take solice in the fact that my Jeep will pull his truck outta the ditch. I take of the grape, rice, hops, barley, corn, et al, with frequency that disturbs my bride.
I don’t go to church, as Sunday is reserved for chores. My brother-in-law is a Pastor who admonishes me with regularity that the Sabbath “is what it is, keep it Holy.”. His words give me comfort, and reminds me to pray with all my heart for the Lord to forgive my DAILY failings.
I pray for all that ask, on FreeRepublic...I ain’t a hypocrite, I’m an a$$whole. Read my heart, Steve.
It may be an honor you’ve never had on Free Republic - but I suspect your commentary has earned you “nastiness” in your daily life.
