Rush's Show was Hijacked Locally by an Old Hussian Speech. Leftists at work

Our local am station caries Rush noon to three. At about 1:10 there was garble as two tapes were played simotanously. Then an old Obama speech played on and on.

Seems though the show was hijacked.

Any other places this happen?

This seems to happen frequently at stations owned by Clear Channel. They are highly automated, and sometimes the automation goes haywire. If they own a cluster of stations in your area sometimes the feeds of two or more of them get transmitted simultaneously over one another. The price of no longer having to pay human beings to run the board.

Obama: Thank you so much. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you. Please, be seated.

Mr. Speaker, Mr. Vice President, members of Congress, distinguished guests, and fellow Americans, last month I went to Andrews Air Force Base and welcomed home some of our last troops to serve in Iraq. Together, we offered a final, proud salute to the colors under which more than a million of our fellow citizens fought, and several thousand gave their lives.

We gather tonight knowing that this generation of heroes has made the United States safer and more respected around the world.

(APPLAUSE)

For the first time in nine years, there are no Americans fighting in Iraq.

(APPLAUSE)

For the first time in two decades, Osama bin Laden is not a threat to this country.

(APPLAUSE)

Most of Al Qaida’s top lieutenants have been defeated. The Taliban’s momentum has been broken. And some troops in Afghanistan have begun to come home.

These achievements are a testament to the courage, selflessness, and teamwork of America’s armed forces. At a time when too many of our institutions have let us down, they exceed all expectations. They’re not consumed with personal ambition. They don’t obsess over their differences. They focus on the mission at hand. They work together.

Imagine what we could accomplish if we followed their example.

(APPLAUSE)

Think about the America within our reach: a country that leads the world in educating its people; an America that attracts a new generation of high-tech manufacturing and high-paying jobs; a future where we’re in control of our own energy; and our security and prosperity aren’t so tied to unstable parts of the world. An economy built to last, where hard work pays off and responsibility is rewarded.

We can do this. I know we can, because we’ve done it before. At the end of World War II, when another generation of heroes returned home from combat, they built the strongest economy and middle class the world has ever known.

(APPLAUSE)

My grandfather, a veteran of Patton’s Army, got the chance to go to college on the G.I. Bill. My grandmother, who worked on a bomber assembly line, was part of a workforce that turned out the best products on Earth...

I am listening to Rush's show now and he has mentioned some of the things Obama said in his speech so glad it is not on the radio while I am listening. I can not stand to hear the mans voice and refuse to listen to him ever and I can not look at him either. I liked it when Rush would take Obama’s voice and speed it up that was the only way I could listen to O.

Watching zero is like watching a turd. Painful and disgusting, just want it to go away.

Happens on my local FM station every day or two, but I think it's the station engineers’ fault or their computer. What happens here is the local news plays while Fox national news is also playing. Think they get out of sync or something with the satellite feed.

Hearing Obama speak literally makes me sick to my stomach. Him laughing it up with the press, I actually feel like vomiting.

"I can not stand to hear the mans voice."

Same here. I have never hated someone as much as I hate ZERO.
How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways. . . .
If I ever win the lottery MY TV will get the Elvis treatment anytime ZERO is on there. . . .

It was interrupted by an Obama press conference here.

Even ignoring the teleprompter issue, that man has to be one of the most boring speakers ever. Somehow he pulls off dull, nagging and whining at the same time - something like Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, but without the comedy and far, far longer. Why do the Dems think he is one of the greatest public speakers ever?

I have NEVER watched Obama say more than two words. EVERYTIME his puking face hits my TV screen I change the channel. Remote is always read and I hit the button to go to another channel. Anything is better than his ugly face and mouth. NEVER heard him say a speech, or listened to the fool. I did the same thing with Klinton.

Next time you eat a big meal, and feel the gaseous turbulence brewing, grab a recorder; point the mic down there, and let it rip. Slow it down, speed it up, mix it around, until you get an Obama speech. Keep it, because all of Obama’s speeches are the same.

So this is how Hussian bullies the conservatives, preempting Rush.

A local AM station was the worst I've known for playing two or even three feeds at once. One time they had the satellites background channel for about five minutes which gave information on frequency and antenna polarization along with a countdown for the news broadcast. But they made up for it by having more dead air than any other station I've heard, so I guess it all averaged out.

My record stands intact:

Since 2007, I have NEVER listened to the Usurper, and if he appears on the TV at any time; I leave the room.

He is aptly referred to above as a turd, albeit that's too kind.

I have often fantasized what I would do if I won a huge lottery. I would like to buy the NYT and fill it up with the real stories of what is truly going on in our country
today and it would not be the pro Obama trash that we see daily.

I have NEVER watched Obama say more than two words.

Obama is inarticulate and unable to speak even a few common words using standard English pronunciation. I'll cite just a few examples although there are many, many more:

His dialect is harsh, grating on the ears and reveals a heritage of something other than a genuine American.

I’ve continued with the same policy I followed when Clinton was president - immediately shut off electronic conduit the instant the irritating POTUS’s (or FLOTUS’s) voice is heard or the face appears on the screen.

Obama was giving a press conference at the same time. The station was probably mistakenly running two things at once on-air. Happens all the time, unfortunately.
