If the boobs in Ohio hadn’t thrown their votes away on Newt, we’d have crushed Willard Romney the open socialist.

So called "boobs" in Ohio voting for Newt - 15%

Santorum's Ohio delegates ineligible - 25%

Santorum's problem in Ohio wasn't Newt.

Sarah and Todd Palin voted for him.

Next comes the South!

Alabama and my state, Mississippi vote next Tuesday.

After tonight, I'm not so certain at all that Newt Gingrich will win either because of the one issue Evangelical voters.

I'm going to Jackson on Thursday to see Newt Gingrich and I'll be better able to judge the crowd. My prayers and hopes belong to Newt Gingrich.

My mail is full of Romney crap and sadly, one piece from Santorum. Nothing at all from Gingrich.

always seems to happen this way with old Mittie

Actually it didn't happen that way in IA and CO. Rick finished strong.

I don't have a problem with the current system of staggered contests, some being primaries and some being caucuses — except that open primaries are a major mistake.

I was very unhappy when Santorum urged Democrats to cross over in my home state of Michigan. Even though it's perfectly legal in Michigan, it looks bad.

Republicans shouldn't be choosing Democratic candidates and vice versa. I said that in 2008 when Rush Limbaugh was advocating crossovers, I said it earlier in 2012 before Santorum and Daily Kos advocated crossovers, and I'm saying it now.

The only thing wrong with our current system is crossover votes. End that and many of our RINO problems will go away — and not just in the presidential races. We'll get real Republicans appealing to conservative voters to win the Republican primary for county, state, and congressional races, and the same for Democrats appealing to real Democrats in theirs.

Going way out on limb here. Yep probably falling just don't know it yet.

GA delegates I got it
Newt 53 Delegates
Mittens 17 Delegates
Santorum Need roughly 4k votes to get a piece of the Proportional

TN
Santorum 21 Delegates
Mittens 18 Delegates
Newt 16 Delegate. But in Danger of losing them all if he falls below 20% in one CD.

Flame Away

You are correct, but he might still fall just short of 20%.

Santorum at 19.6% with 95.8% reporting in Georgia.

Just kill me now......lol. Seriously, Santorum can certainly snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I am seriously disgusted....I hope that phrase was correct and accurate for what I am feeling. :-)

Fox News showing Dennis Kucinich conceding defeat alongside his attractive (but obviously insane) wife.

Is she growing or is he shrinking? ;)

On another note - Mitt is looking more and more like General W. T. Sherman Romney - unstoppable. He gets proportionals from Georgia for getting over 20% - he gets more delegates in Ohio (win or not) - he has California coming (winner take all) with 149 delegates . At this point (much as I hate to say it - but from doing some reasonable calcs) this is looking more and more inevitable.

If those boobs in Florida hadn’t thrown away their votes on Santorum

Recheck Florida. Romney beat Newt+Rick by 19k votes in there. Do you thing you... or anyone... could have talked sense into the Paul voters to have gotten the needed extra votes there?

It should be interesting and right now, I’m looking for bland! I’m so annoyed at the outright lies and deception and yes, I know it’s ‘politics’ and it’s the way the game is played, but my beloved country is under attack and I just want ONE DAY to be ‘normal’ :)

A 7,071 vote difference, very interesting.

I think the fix is in!

Coincidentally the final votes are counted in areas strong for Romney? It’s just like Michigan! I’m not big a believer in conspiracy theories, but this definitely makes you wonder if someone up the food chain is pulling the strings and giving us the candidate THEY want!

I voted Gingrich in Florida- even worked on his campaign here in Tampa- but I’m also a Santorum fan! I wish we could smush both Newt and Rick together and get a super-candidate! Both are great...BOTH can beat nObama! I don’t think Mittsky has that ability. He’s also going to hurt our conservative gains in both the House and Senate in November!

I can’t believe I read that...Santorum has got to be the whiniest candidate I’ve seen in a long time. He’s just so insecure and he can’t possibly beat 0bama. Even Romney would have a better chance against 0. Santorum simply doesn’t have enough leadership qualities. We have that problem now with the current occupant. I don’t want the repeat the mistake with someone else just because they have conservative values. The fact that we’re in this positions is just scary to me.

Oh dear. reasonable, objective analysis. Prepare to get flamed.

I will say that when people look back at this time, the diarrhea of press verbiage about a "brokered convention" will be perceived as perhaps the dumbest non-story in political history.

Considering JimRob is for Newt, I’d say he probably is pleased...don’t tell me you don’t know who the owner of the site supports?

Agree that with the current mix of candidates, Romney appears headed for the nomination. But with the four becoming three or two...maybe that would change? Or not.
