“When they tell you that you must vote for Romney because Scalia and Kennedy might retire from the Supreme Court, you will be expected to come back on board. It’s inevitable.”

I think it’s a pretty good reason. Would you rather Obama or Romney appoint to the Supreme Court? Are you kidding me?

I have no more faith in Romney making conservative SC choices than I do of Barry. Any integrity he may have had before the campaign was squandered in the way in which he sleazily slammed his opponents. I trust him not. At all.

If O is reelected there is no way in hell Scalia or Kennedy will retire. But if Romney is elected they very well might retire. I think the best Romney would do in that case would be to appoint a couple of Kennedy clones which would shift the balance.
Remember it was Eisenhower who gave us the Warren court.
Preventing Romney from getting the nomination is the best way to insure a conservative supreme court
