It is soooooo sad to see Santorum representing the person to try to knock off Romney; then Obama. It is a horrible choice. How could the religious right do this. He will never beat Obama. People are so dumb not to see we need huge changes. Rush built him up. The dems even voted for him in Ohio; an open primary. Obama must be thrilled (Mitt or Rick) head to desk. God Bless Newt and our country.

I simply can’t stand Santorum. I am hoping against the odds that we get Gingrich and if not...it is my personal opinion that we are flocked.

You’re trolling pretty hard with these constant comments bashing Newt reflexively. You’re even going around trying to spin good news as a failure. I have no intention of supporting Santorum under any circumstance and will not be bullied into doing it with these sorts of defeatist tactics. Not when he can run for congess in 95 based on a “come to Jesus” pro-life platform, only to endorse Specter in the same year for President, who was running a “come away from Jesus” platform in an ill fated attempt to wean the Republican party away from pro-life views. We have him on tape smiling and clapping next to Specter giving his Presidential announcement speech and laying out his devilish platform.
Social conservatism is conservatism, as well as fiscal conservatism. The problem with Santorum is that he doesn’t understand conservatism, and falsely bashes “libertarianism” which is actually conservatism, but he is too confused to tell the difference. Santorum is no doctor of theology, and he is no doctor on political dogma either. He doesn’t represent me or my views. I am pro-life and against gay marriage... but I am not in favor of using the government to favor the family over the individual.
