Republican Hard and Soft Count Delegate Summary

Republican Hard and Soft Count Delegate Summary

Total Delegates: 2,286 (1144 needed to win) 2012 Presidential Primaries, Caucuses, and Conventions Chronologically

This is a good chart to study to get a feel for the delegate "count" jungle.

And think about this when you hear a candidate or their PAC "demand" another candidate withdraw. (Newt and Rick are very close in the count -- actually Newt looks potentially stronger).

The candidates know these numbers and they play the MSM and the MSM plays us.

Stay informed.

What they said after the Florida election was that if no candidate has clinched the nomination by April 1, the other candidates can challenge the Florida delegation and split the Florida votes.

So, if both Santorum and Gingrich request that, I think they would have to do it. It wouldn’t do much for Gingrich, he as too far to go, but it would hurt Romney.

Well that's what eight year olds do when confronted with something that causes them consternation.

I feel for ya buddy.

Here. Hope this helps...

The blankie color your choice...

And of course the hold over pacifier most suitable for someone unable or unwilling to leave their infancy behind...

Hope you're having a great day...

Why Brown Deer, are you now stooping to projection too? Why yes, yes you are. You poor Deer.

By the third grade you’ll actually lean new tools to use like, “I know you are, but what am I?” and “I’m going to tell my mother.”

Looking forward to watching the progress...

You know Brown Deer, that’s the nicest thing you’ve said to me yet. You actually care. That warms my heart.

Still, you are a ten year old, and you still can’t express yourself in an adult manner, but I can see a tinge of remorse within you.

Perhaps there is a chance for you yet. You’ve only been posting here for going on 13 years, so I’m not sure you’ll every be able to post adult material, but I’m not going to give up on you.

If Newt and Rick could see their way to join forces, it would be game set and match. We could just go straight to swearing in.

As much as I want Newt in the top spot, I can see him being the adult and taking the second spot before Rick would.

Maybe someday when you grow up, you might get to go to school and learn something.

Someday when you grow up, you may be able to attend a school and learn something.

Always a pleasure Brown Deer.

Someday, after you have grown up, you may be able to attend a school and learn something.

Actually, I think this is better.

Even so, your premise is rather silly.  People attend school while growning up.

Always a pleasure Brown Deer.

So the guy that can’t form a decent sentence now lectures the guy that made a typing error.

The evidence of your maturity is underwhelming.

I can see why Newt would agree with the sources that claim he is not ahead of Santorum in the delegate vote.

Right now the Romney army has it’s artillery trained on Santorum, why would he pop his head up and holler...”Hey, over here...over here”

many in the Santorum camp would never support Newt, after the derogatory nature of their treatment by his supporters

Now that's a 'Boo-Hoo-Hoo'......they'll get over it, they know what's on the line, just like Newt supporters will vote Santorum like they did McBain if he wins......But NO Romney!

We have many posts on here of Newt followers who have stated they would vote for Romney or sit out over Santorum. There have been some back the other way.
