I’ve been to the emergency room in Thessaloniki. What an absolutely sh**hole.
What have the Greeks produced, lately? Besides scenery.
they did serve bravely in the resistance in ww2 (even if most were reds) as well as in korea.
many came here to the u.s. we’re better off for them.
If all those lazy, layabout, coffee drinking/smoking Greeks all disappeared, the spectacular scenery would still be there.
Now that's a different story; the industrious ones are the only ones who would emigrate to a better place.
Having personally known many Greek families in the US, they are industrious hard working people. No better friends.
If you mean Greeks in Greece, I don't think much in the past 40 years, but am not sure. However, you can't condemn a 3200 year old country for 40 years.
Greeks kicked serious Nazi ass during WWII.
