This post by Greta is confusing.

1. The headline says Newt is leading, but the internals show Romney.

2. This poll is by the same outfit that today released a poll conducted Mar 1 (posted here on FR) - that shows Rick leading, Newt 3rd. This poll indicates that it was conducted on Mar 5-7--- but I can't find it on the poll's website.

Take it for what it's worth. Maybe others might be able to clarify it.

The poll is from Alabama, where 24.7% has nearly a 50-50 chance of being larger than 29.9%.

Polls are like politicians. Put enough money in their pocket, put them in the right place, and the right words pop out of their mouths.

Going to the front page the headline says Romney is leading, as do the numbers.

Alabama wouldn’t. The problem is that Santorum and Gingrich keep splitting the ABR vote.

You right. 117 did not respond out of 592 queried . If they’re using the same folks they called 5 days ago responders might be tired of being polled and are saying anything that comes to mind,

The Alabama GOP is holding a forum on Monday at 5:30 pm with Santorum and Gingrich. So far, neither Willard or Paul has agreed to attend. This could be a great forum to see some serious discussion of conservative ideas and compare and contrast Newt and Rick side by side. If you feel so moved, please call C-Span and CNN and urge them to cover this forum. I doubt Fox would carry it because Romney likely will not be attending.

You can call CNN at 4048271500…option 2,2,2 and leaving a message to air the March 1st debate...also www.cnn.com under “contact us” at bottom of te screen u can email this request.

I know I gave my opinion to you already but I will again just for others coming to this thread. I hope and pray that Gingrich and Santorum are the only ones to show up. I am sick of hearing Grampa crazy and fake conservative. So this will be the best that I would wish for. Two great people debating each other as adults. Notice Romney is the only one involved when there are “fighting”. Romney did it to Perry, Gingrich and Santorum. Of course each group of supporters blamed Perry, Gingrich or Santorum, but guess what? IT WAS ALL ROMNEY all three times.

That NH one-on-one was between Newt and Huntsman, and it got rave reviews all around. I am not positive, but I don’t think it has ever been Newt and Santorum only, but not sure. I just hope C-span would cover it. as for me, it is getting late in the game, I am going to try and view it totally objectively, in terms of how will the rest of america receive these men and their ideas... I think it is time for people to go deeply to their hearts, seek God’s will, and abide. Even if it hurts.

I posted this somewhere today, not sure :) for the latecomers:

I can’t wait for this. Good luck making your decision. Either one is a winner in my book. God Bless!
