Did MSNBC ever vet Al Sharpton? Seriously, with so much of the talk about HBO's Game Change docu-drama focusing on the vetting of Sarah Palin or lack thereof by the McCain campaign, is there any minimum standard of knowledge required to have one's own show on the Lean Forward network?
Take Sharpton's mind-boggling misstatement on Morning Joe today. The Reverend Al asserted that in Alabama, "it's against the law to organize unions." Did any of the MJ crew, including Joe Scarborough, Gene Robinson and Steve Rattner, call Al out on his misrepresentation? Of course not.

Can Al Sharpton really be this ignorant? Ping to Today show list.
Well Al, then there are a whole bunch of law breaking unions in Alabama.
NO, he just lies all the time, like Obama.
No. This is the year of the Big Lie. Liberals/Progressives will be telling them on every opportunity, on any subject, about any conservative in order to get that Evil Bastard re-elected.
Why it would be racist to question Sharton’s veracity on any subject. You would think after Sharpton created the Tawana Brawley hoax he would have no credibility, but oddly enough that lie spring boarded him to the big time in race baiting politics.
More lies from greasy Al......
“Resist we much, resist we much.” -Al Sharpton
Al: And then I said "It's Against The Law To Organize Unions In Alabama" and nobody challenged me!!
Zero: Good job Al - you crack me up!
In answer to the first question of the article,no, MSDNC did not vet Mr. Sharpton because he came highly recommended by the General Secretary of the Party.
Too bad its not true.
Sharpton is as stupid as congressman Hank (Guam is gonna tip over) Johnson:
You see a pattern to libs messages here?
1) Republicans take away ‘access’ to contraceptives.
2) Republicans take away ‘access’ to a woman's right to ‘choose their health choices’ (abortion) in VA.
3) Republicans take away ‘workers’ right to collectively bargain in WI
4) Republicans take away minorities right to vote with Voter ID laws, (especially illegals)
5) And now Alabama Republicans take away workers right to unionize, even though its protected by federal law and I doubt Holder or NULRB would look the other way
Let's chant : "Selma, Selma, We shall overcome,..."
Why have Sharpton on, if you aren’t going to question what he says? All he does is lie.
All he does is lie.
I don’t think that at all, Mr. Sharpton is just an ignoramus who doesn’t know any better.
I’d like to “take away” their tongues and fingers. ;)
