Addressing the Detroit Economic Club Friday afternoon, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney (R) reprised his familiar line that “the trees are the right height” and “the streets are just right” in his home state.
But he also made another statement that could draw him some unwanted attention: he told the crowd that his wife, Ann Romney, drives “a couple of Cadillacs.”

I am NOT a Romney supporter at all but I refuse to engage in this nonsense of kicking him because he can afford more than me. Maybe she has a Cadillac sedan and SUV, so? He wants to buy property and tear down the house and build a new one, have at it...him building a new house is providing private sector jobs! No matter what the rich spend money and that is a GOOD thing!!
Did anyone hear Romney trying out his “country boy” persona on the news this a.m.? Heard him saying during his trip to MS, he was “learning how to say ‘y’all.’”

Imagine, saying you own Cadillacs when you’re in Detroit. Where they’re made. Unlike John Kerry, who denied owning Cadillac SUV’s.
He just dropped her social standing among the elite by fifty points!

Cadillacs are a favorite of Blacks. Governor Patrick has one. Chuck Berry sang about them. It's a big enuf market to keep on making 'em.
Many of our neighbors have a home here in MA. and in Florida. They also have more than one car. Most have 2 here and at least one down south. So what?
And I drive a Lexus.

Im not sure what you’re asking me. I have no problem with it. I have a problem with someone who just doesn’t like Romney because he is a Mormon spreading class envy as a way to take him down.
I had to go to the local Chevrolet/Cadillac dealer a month ago to get a $9.68 part for my 1976 Chevy 1 ton Dually truck.
They had a brand new 2012 Cadillac on the showroom floor. I couldn’t resist looking at the window sticker.
Price? $75,005.32.
My first thought was that that was 3 times the cost of my first house in 1966.
My second thought was that could have ‘rounded ‘ it off to just $75,000 even!!!!
What’s worse-—I cannot even tow my 4 horse trailer with that $75,000 vehicle!!!!!!
