Gingrich calls for Panetta resignation

Presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich on Friday called on Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta to resign, rebuking him for telling a congressional panel that the U.S. would “seek international permission” before intervening in the ongoing bloodshed in Syria.

“I have been told that the secretary of defense has suggested that international agreements override the Congress,” Gingrich told supporters in Gulfport, Mississippi. “If he believes that, he should resign tonight.”

Responding to a statement that the U.S. was placing military resolutions of the United Nations, NATO and the Arab League ahead of those made by Congress, Panetta told the Senate Armed Services Committee on Wednesday: "You know, our goal would be to seek international permission.

The Obama Administration is, without doubt, the most criminal administration in u.S. history.

Panetta knows better. He should resign.

The most criminal, corrupt government in our history. RICO should apply.

But expecting them to resign or recuse themselves, is never going to happen.

If you look at the history of Panetta you will see he embraces commies. There have been articles about his associations.
Our whole govt, save a few people, is full of commies..
These FEMA camps, which I am sure they will say is simply to house people left homeless from natural disasters, is going to be re education camps for people who will refuse to kiss the a$4 er ring of HRH and HRH the 0bamas..
God help this nation...dark days are ahead...
We have family members who lost everything moved to a foreign country to start over..they have escaped this...but what makes me see red is they voted for this horror! Even named their peacock Barack because the sound they make sounds they make sound like they are saying this puke’s name.

The Obama mafia is subservient to the UN. The One World Government HQ. Obama seeks “permission” for a group that collective hates America and Israel. On May 14, 1948, the UN approved the formation of the Nation of Israel. The USA, President Truman against the advice of nearly all his advisers and Congress, recognized Israel. DO YOU THINK that the stinking UN would approve the formation of the Nation of Israel today??? I don’t think so. Not a chance. The only reason it happened back then was the Holocaust of WWII and the murder of 6 million Jews. No Obama takes his orders from Soros and the other leaders of the Bilderberg Group mafia. The One World Order. It is here. It is now. It rules now. It runs the banks. It runs most EU governments. It runs the fed reserve banks. Get used to it folks. It is here and there is nothing we can do about it. Only Jesus Christ will “fix” this world. Only He has the power to do it. We humans are simply out numbered.

Totally agree. If the Republicans have any brains (I know, I know...questionable) they will play that clip over and over and over again during the coming months until everyone has it memorized. That sums up the Obama foreign policy so thoroughly and so well. Couple that with this, http://news.investors.com/article/603583/201203071856/aegis-missile-defense-secrets-to-moscow.htm
and you have a double indictment.

We can discuss all day long about flip-flopping and differences of policy and wives and such. However, Newt is the only one who really gets the big picture. The man understands that there are very bad people on this rock. He also understands that Keynesian economic policies don't work and never will. He has apologized for his Pelosi/Newt couch thing, and apologized/wisen-up for other. How few politicians do so?

That said, I doubt he will be the GOP nominee. It's a done deal for "pretty" guy (Romney) who claims ALL. We are screwed!

Personally, I kinda hope bambi has 4 more years to try and kill our Constitutional heritage. Once he believes he has the mandate to initiate European socialism, Joe-six-pack and Soccor-mom may wise up.

I'm not a conspiracy person, but I can see Constitutional patriots fighting back in ways that will bring the fedgov down upon them. If bambi keeps pushing, he is going to find a world of hurt. Mark these words.

Absolutely no threat to the Presidency from this nobody on a forum. I would never want to see any harm come to our President.

Ultra frightening.
I saw this post on another site.
I would appreciate any Freepers’ input as to whether there is any truth to it:

“On December 26, 1933, 49 Statute 3097, Treaty Series 881, “Convention on Rights and Duties of States”, CONGRESS replaced STATUTES with international law, placing
all states under international law.
On December 9, 1945, International Organization Immunities Act relinquished every public office of the United States to the United Nations. 22 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) 92.12-92.31 FR Heading “Foreign Relationship” states that oath is required to take office.
Title 8 USC 1481 states, once oath of office is taken citizenship is relinquished, thus the oath taker becomes a foreign entity, agency, or state. That means every public office is a foreign state, even all political subdivisions; i.e., every single court is considered a separate foreign entity.
Title 22 USC, “Foreign Relations and Intercourse”, Chapter 11 identifies all public officials as foreign agents.

Fight for the Constitution, our Freedom and Liberty, or die trying. Dig deep within yourself for that courage and fight to save all that is near and dear to you on this earth.

Enough with the defeatist talk. Buck up and join the rest of us who don’t give in, who don’t give up. Remember God helps those who help themselves. Pick up the Flag, pick up the gun, say your prayers, and fight!

Unbelievable. The DOD Secretary is suggesting that the United Nations be the end all of American foreign policy regarding who we attack?

I am flabbergasted.

This is what happens when we put ball-less ideological punks in charge. Sheesh, this guy was the "chief of staff" for clinton if I remember correctly. Now he's the head of our Armed Forces and talking this shit?

Does no one in this administration have ANY cojones to speak out? Are the top level military so beholding to their careers that they will allow the bad guys to gain strength and eventually kill/main my children and grand-children? Is there not ONE grown up in this executive administration?

Personally, I wouldn't have a problem with the Joint Chiefs of Staff orchestrating a coup against the so-called civilian leadership at this point. Yes, I prefer civilian leadership over military, but it's getting to the point of survival!

Iran is going to light up the Middle East...watch. But the Marxist bambi wants to talk and talk and talk. "Nothing off the table", as bambi says. Does anyone in the know really believe that? Anyone? Bueller?

“We do not have a United ‘Nations’ Secretary of Defense....We have a United ‘States’ Secretary of Defense.” -— Newt

But apparently Panettta doesn’t see himself as ‘Our’ Sec. of Defense...but serves the United Nations first and foremost.....is that not once again treasonous?

Sickening...I saw him say this, that they would seek international community permission and then maybe, if things seemed like it was necessary, inform Congress and seek congressional approval...but not necessarily.

Sessions called him on it, said he could not believe what he was hearing and asked Panetta, since he had served in Congress, didn’t he think this was about the most crazy thing he could imagine hearing.

Funny thing is, Panetta said, “yes.”

No wonder they’re all afraid ...lol.

We need a debate on foreign policy, the UN and what role they (don't) play in America's interest. As for Panetta...he should have been gone a long time ago.

I agree with your post Libs......

Anyone else but Newt will take us completely into the Globalist Agenda.......those at the helm of that are simply playing this nation until they are set...and also securing their own revenues for when they push the entire world finacial systems into free fall. To the rescue will be a One World finacial system prepared to step in and countries will welcome it for the mess things will be in.

I believe fully Newt knows what’s happening and why he’s going to play hardball in Washington when he gets there....he knows it’s critical to act fast and hard and spare nothing to secure this country against what’s coming.

Neither Santorum nor Romney would throw their career on the line ...Romney’s vested Internationally and secure no matter which way things go....and Santorum just doesn’t have broad knowledge of what’s going on let alone the solutions or ability to make quick judgements...his learning curve would be gigantic in Washington despite his years in the Senate...he won’t be able to move congress as he has zip zero leverage.

Newt’s the only hope....and I pray to God he will grant Newt this Presidency....otherwise we have passed the point of no return.

Corruption is at every level both here and at the UN....including the International Arena....it’s all to crash the world financial systems as much of what is needed to implement a Universal Monetary System is fast getting in place.....but they have to put it all in free fall first...without completely crashing it atogether...and also position the people to accept it for the instability and fears it will generate....a Universal Monetary Sytem will calm the people then.

This is why there’s so much revenue moving electronically between nation banks, World Bank, etc. and all those “help” organizations worldwide which barely put a dent in the actual problems they tout they’re fixing...they aren’t and have no intentions of doing. Greece is no surprise whatso ever despite the volumes of monies moved around....they gamed Greece and Greece gamed them as well as we see in the most recent news...and they knew this would happen.

And so ...Newt’s the only one who sees what’s going on...and has the will and the ability to shore up our nation...and wants to. The other two are in it for themselves....and either way they will survive very well...Newt’s out there ‘for the Glory of this nation’ so he can give it back to God Almighty!

This situation reminds me of the Hungarian Revolt/Revolution that took place in 1956. President Eisenhower was criticized for not getting the United States involved in that war.

Could his decision have been influenced by his recent memories of the battles of WWII? He was commander in Europe during the D-Day invasion. The loss of life there was beyond belief.
