Rick Santorum needs about 60 percent of the remaining delegates to claim the Republican nomination. It would be an easier task, he admits, if former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich would drop out, but Santorum would not call explicitly for him to do so.
“The Speaker can stay as long as he wants,” Santorum said on NBC’s Meet the Press this morning. Instead, a Super PAC supporting Santorum has run ads calling for Gingrich to drop out of the race. (snip for excerpt purp.)
“We’re in a great position now as we go forward,” he said.
Of course, there would be an easy way for Santorum to really make up ground: “I’d like everybody to get out,” he said.

No, I did not. Mitt Romney at present is campaigning as a conservative, pure and simple. In actuality, when Governor of Massachusetts, he was anything and everything BUT conservative.
The big myth is that he is a good businessman. Sure - like operating a wreaking yard for large corporations is good business. He was no entrepreneur, but rather quite good at stripping the value from a company and laying off workers, thus leaving nothing for the shareholders of said companies.
No one will be a bigger disaster than Obama, a sworn enemy of the USA. Let’s not get bogged down.
I think most conservative voters swap the two.
Jimmy Carter was a successful business owner. Ronald Reagan was not.

EXACTLY, which is why nominating Santorum will guarantee it.
Why go out of your way to make it happen?
I voted for Santorum last week.
None of the four remaining candidates are perfect but some have more to be against than others. Ron Paul has been good on economics but his defense and foreign policy positions are terrible. Romney is just the latest moderate Republican that realizes that he can’t win without Conservatives. Newt can talk a great game but in practice he allows his ego to run his positions. Newt also has a ton of baggage. Santorum had a fairly good voting record in Congress but he goes off message when campaigning. All in all I thought he was the lesser of four (not evil) but uninspiring candidates.
At the end of the day I’ll vote for any of them over Obama.

Ronald Reagan had been President of the Screen Actors Guild, a labor union, and definitely NOT government subsidized.

Look, the birth control pill and the Catholic Church was a fake issue, designed to take out Santorum. Obama wants to run against Romney because once the federal individual mandate is thrown out or abandoned, Obama is going to call for states to enact their own individual mandate.
Romney is on record stating that its ok on the state level. Obama wins.

BTW, not that you take the time to realize who has or who has not claimed to be a Santorum voter......but I have not “endorsed” any candidate. I simply find it unhelpful for conservatives to be bashing conservative candidates (Newt or Rick).... but that’s just MO .... so keep doing what you’re doing.
Short list for VP, regardless of who is at the top is Rubio, Perry, and Chris Christie. Florida is essential, Perry is an actual full-blooded conservative and not a wannabe, and Christie is the wild-card choice for a “game change”...
