I am reliably told that NBC and Matt Lauer are closing in on a deal that will pay him an estimated $25 million per year over the course of a multiyear deal, possibly as many as three, but more likely two.

NBC declined to comment.

I don’t know that I’d pay Lauer 25K a year, much less 25 mil. I’m not his boss, though. If the network thinks he’s worth that much (even if he isn’t, LOL), then that’s their dime to spend.

I pretty much hate all those morning network news shows anyway. Even Fox and Friends (except when Alysin Camerota is hosting....rrrrrrowl!)

Oh I watch Fox in the morning for about 5 minutes.
This is what I think of Fox news. Now that I have lifetime movie network I watch that, otherwise i had my tv on fox or hgtv or animal planet.
