On any poll I usually subtract 7 from the democrat's poll number and add about 5 to 8 to the Republican number but I'm thinking Obama may have a minus 9 “handicap”...my bet is he's about 32% approval. No science involved, just an observation based on several decades of following politics.

Rassy is showing his “strong approve” number up to 28% today, and his “rating” at -14.

Makes sense to me and I hope you are on the high side. I hate to admit that 32% of Americans are actually totally unaware of the truth or don’t have the brains to understand it. Those are the only two reasons I can think of for anyone to approve...oh, wait, I forgot to allow for those who stand to gain by having him reelected. Of course in the long run even they will lose but who thinks more than fifteen minutes ahead now.
