Didn't see a thread
Newt’s catching up in Mississippi !
I dislike Rick Santorum and Romney equally. Will not vote for either one
“If Zipperhead takes 4 of 5 that day, Dallas don’t matter.”
Uhh, what does “Zipperhead” mean? I haven’t heard that one.
Here we go again. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

The NWS Duties Act. Bad bill and duly defeated.
nbc calls Alabama for Santorum...
That is correct. The governor’s machine has their element of shills though it has thought to be more systematic in blue states.
We have been so very niave, for too long.
In Birmingham the turnout was quite low - probably lowest I have experienced in 20 years. They ask for your driver’s license which is good. Ask you whether you are a dem or a pub and hand you the ballot. Voted for Scott Beason to hopefully unseat Spencer “stab-us in the back-us” Bachus.
It may be that Newt drops out tomorrow, if he fails to gain top spot in both Alabama and Missippi, and if he were to fall to third place in one of the two of them. But that is just conjecture. Heck, Rick Santorum could drop out tomorrow, too, for lack of cash, as he is running on bailing wax and string and hopes and prayers at this point against Goliath Romney. I think the template to watch for is Michelle Bachman after Iowa. She threw in the towel after “must haves”, even though leading up to it as I recall indications were she (said she) would stay in. At any rate, a very volatile race and could be down to a two man race (with Paul as a shill) by the weekend. /armchair theorizing off
Oh yes, me too.
All the GOP-E elected office holders who endorsed Romney are RNC players who want to advance their careers and they're betting on Romney.
They're "Team Players" --- sound familiar?
My county has not reported.
Romney is winning in the highly government counties. Mine is too, (sort of).
Speaking of which, did anyone listen to Tom Marr* who substituted for Mark Levin last Friday (or Thursday maybe)? I couldn't believe my ears - he was shilling for Romney the entire hour, hung up on people who tried to point out Mitt's myths. I finally turned him off and went elsewhere on satellite radio.
*Tom Marr always talks about Grey Goose vodka when he subs for Mark
The downside is this: if one of them drops it cuts the size of Romney's battlefront in half. Some have made a compelling argument that it's actually advantageous to have both men in the race and running strong provided our goal is to keep Romney from 1144.
If Romney can’t even make second place in either Alabama or Mississippi, I will go to bed tonight a happy man.
Maybe it helps if it’s extremely hot out.... it was when I tried it.
Some nice folks in South Carolina took us to a little 50’s looking shop, where they served the best hand squeezed lemonade on the planet. My mouth waters just talking about it.
Santorum 52,052 33%
Gingrich 50,396 32%
Romney 47,875 30%
Paul 6,909 4%
But, Drudge has already reported that Romney won MS.
Sad thing for conservatives is that this will not be a big win for anyone.
It is all so close, the victor will be Romney.
Malformed head. His forehead is huge.
Yes captain!
Well, ok! :)
Time to go 3rd party
Can’t say I like those numbers but considering all the media’s been pushing for Santorum to keep Newt out of the game..... Newt’s doing very well.....
Ok time to pray......Newt’s the only one who will stand against Obama and certainly the only one who can make it happen from day one in Washington.....Santorum would have problems adapting just learning where the door handles on the rooms and where they are.....I don’t want someone who has to find there way around, in all respects......no time for that.
And even if Santorum’s been a Senetor.....he does not have good judgement nor does he deliver unless it makes him’King” for the day.
Hey I hear Santorum’s son thinks Romney’s great....figure that!
Just what I get for relying on the LAT ... the script running the map took a dump...
Hinds County MS (Jackson) is almost all in...Romney Territory and almost all counted...good for Rick and Newt!
LOL. Just trying to inject some humor :)
79% reporting
Santorum 52,885 33%
Gingrich 51,273 32%
Romney 48,381 30%
Paul 6,981 4%
But, Drudge has already reported that Romney won MS.
“I could use a vodka martini right now. Perhaps 3 or 4.”
If I had some, I’d let you drink all you want and to hell with the consequences. I’m about at the point to fly to your state and buy fat foods, sugary foods, and alcohol of our choices and just sit there with your dog and your ducks and have a food orgy. You know the emergency response people, think you are in charge of that, so put them on stand-by and we’ll have a good time. Would your wife join in or complain we were going to die?
GO NEWT!
LOL. No, I have stopped listening to talk radio and I’ve never hear of that guy.
I have Grey Goose because my youngest son drinks it.
Al right!!!!!!!!! He's the man!! God rise him further and thank you!!!!!
And Romney’s son today in Hawaii said Obama is great. Wonderful. We’re going to end up with a clown candidate . Same old same old, change NOTHING.
“.... but he’s there to marginalize Newt for the establishment and he’s done well. That was the last, best time to take the nomination from Romney. “
Your entire post a bull’s eye.
The story of Rick’s life—how to help the GOP-E.
With that, for sure, Santorum will stay in the race (winning one of the two, in this case, Alabama). I expect a victory speech soon. Or perhaps he will wait until Miss is confirmed, and it would be icing to win that one as well within the context of his victory speech).
It’s history now and it worked.
Well he IS a team player dontchaknow.
“They surely revealed their backsides to us, didn’t they?”
Yes, and it hurt me as I thought I knew these people.
Alabama just now Santorum ahead, Miss., he’s also ahead. Newt is third in both states.
And he doesn’t even get the VP slot.
They must have a secret truck of Romney ballots in Mississippi. Drudge made the call for Mitt.
Do you know how ridiculous that sounds? It's time people stopped just making stuff up and got behind our candidate no matter who it is. If we don't stop Obama, there will be no more elections.
Only good news for me...my Mom’s home county, Marion (MS), Newt-39%;Rick-28%; Mittens-28% (100% in)
Well Santorum's son knows that his daddy endorsed Mitt in the last election. I am sure they were friendly! I wonder if the voters are really informed and have looked into each candidates background OR if they are voting based on the tv ads, smear attacks and goobledeegook...they hear from the media
That's exactly right! ......Dang makes me made people don't get what's going on with Santorum.....they need to wise up.
Don’t you just despise how Michael Steele
engineered this whole mess .. purposely?
Holygod .. whattamoron exemplar.
I’d wager on the latter. Oh, and people are stupid. :-)
37% reporting, Updated 10:07 p.m.
Santorum 64,216 35%
Gingrich 55,220 30%
Romney 51,101 28%
Paul 9,494 5%
Newt believes in man-made global warming.
