Brett Baer on FOX just declared Alabama for Santorum.

I hope you are wrong. However, I don’t disagree with the fact that Newt has been a spoiler and has ruined this race by giving us Romney. I hate big egos. Not saying I hate Newt - I hate his oversized ego.

Once again we have Gingrich splitting the tea party and male vote. had he withdrawn before WA, MI, OH, Santorum would have won these votes and Santorum would have been coasting for the nomination. The ego of one man Gingrich, described as a “Hindenberg waiting to explode” has thwarted this scenario. Romney needs to send bouquets of roses and more to Gingrich.

Aye, Gingrich will be owed the VP spot for having "given" Mittens the nomination. Suxx big time.

With 79% if the vote counted for Mississippi, I think Mittens can pack it in and call it a night.

I wonder how many Dems crossed over to vote Romney?

I’ve been a Newt supporter, but I could easily support easily Santorum

I wish I could say the same. But if Santorum is the GOP's nominee, I'll write in my choice in November.

Way to waste your vote and re-elect Obama. As much as I dislike Mitt - and even said I wouldn’t vote for him if he is the nominee - I will. I want the evil one out of the WH.

“I’ve been a Newt supporter, but I could easily support easily Santorum.”

I am underwhelmed by Santorum, but I would certainly vote for him in the general. That said, I am not going to help him get there. As it stands I feel like we are having to pick a ‘champion’ for a pit fight. I like the old bulldog, but he should have run eight years ago. Of the other choices, I am looking at a Lhasa Apso in a cute little sweater, a squirrel, and a hissing cockroach. I’ve decided I will support any of the candidates which is a mammal, and has an internal skeleton.

Well now. The same could be said about Gingrich. If Santorum would have bowed out, Gingrich would have swept.

Some people don’t get it. Newt fared very poorly with women voters. I’m not sure he could’ve swept - as you say. Both Rick and Mitt have been married to the same woman all their lives. Regardless, of how people aren’t supposed to judge - this has hurt him big time - as well as his little sit down with Nancy Pelosi and his favoring cap and trace for 20 years.

“I wonder how many Dems crossed over to vote Romney?”

In my precinct there was 1 (one) black person voting in the Democrat primary. She was the only person I saw voting in the Democrat primary at all. Several black males were voting in the Republican primary. Speculate as you wish as to their motives and candidates, but statistically that was very odd, albeit a miniscule sample. I did what I could to provide a free abortion to Bishop Willard’s Whitewashed Jackass candidacy.

He didn’t appear to be particularly sad. Let’s see how he looks when he has to call Mississippi for Santorum (or Gingrich).

Well, I swore I could never vote for Newt because of his personal life but I changed my mind when I realized that he is the only one running who can handle the press and Obama. I think Obama will win if Romney is the GOP candidate. I will NEVER vote for him. The GOP powers that be need to be taught a lesson. Yes, yes I know..we need to get rid of Obama....well Romney would be NO different than Obama.

Granted, Romney will be an obama-lite, but, I’m not convinced that Mittens is a marxist - like zero. Nor, has he spent his life with radicals - like the current occupier has.

There is a difference in their love for this country. One loves it - the other doesn’t. It isn’t hard to choose who is who in this scenario.
