The United States has warned that the six-nation negotiations on Iran's nuclear program in April would be the last chance for Tehran to prevent a U.S. attack, the Kommersant daily said on Wednesday.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton asked Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the sidelines of a UN Security Council meeting in New York on Monday to relate this point to the Iranian authorities, the paper said.

Not certain about this report. (imho) this is the way it will play out. iran will attain a couple of nukes (if do not already have). From where I do not know (perhaps china or russia). The nukes will be modified to have an iranian signiture from material iran has compiled. I fully expect iran to use said weapons. At that point, if it should play out this way, all bets are off. I have to qualify that with one thing.

Obama has never been shy about tossing his closest friends and allies under the bus if it meant winning an election. Numerically there are far more people who'd rally around him for bombing Iran than the Michael Moore lemmings who'd protest. For the same reason I expect him to do a 180 on the Keystone Pipeline.

Who is trying to fool who, here? There is no way in aitch eee double hockey sticks that we are going to take *any* military action against Iran, with current administration at the helm. If SoS Clinton is actually pushing this line, I have a bit of advice for her. Stay away from the poker tables at Vegas and Atlantic City, lady, because as a bluffer, you just can't cut it...
