Would you vote for Romney?

I have seen a lot of FReepers state that they would NEVER cast a vote for Romney. That is my gut reaction as well. Mitt is on record saying that I will vote for him eventually. His arrogance makes me want to prove him wrong and write in a candidate. But I fear that will lead to 4 more years of Obama. Until I stare at the ballot in November, I don't know for sure what I will do. If it is a choice between Obama and Romney, what will you do?

Exactly...I don’t see any difference between Obama and Romney. They are both puppets pushing the same agenda.

Yeah, except for Reagan I’ve been voting for the lesser of two evils for President my entire life. It doesn’t get any worse than Obama, so I’m an ABO. Main consideration is, Obama would veto any moves by a Republican congress to repeal Obamacare, etc., and would appoint communist judges in perpetuity. At least I don’t expect Romney to do that.

Doesn’t mean I like it.

No way I’ll ever vote for any Obama, the democrat or the one in the republican party!

Anyone currently supporting Romney is helping Obama to win.

Romney won’t save us from what’s coming.

If it’s a choice between Obama and Obama light, we’re done anyway, maybe just a bit slower.

Why prolong the agony and have our side take all the blame?

I could vote for Newt, or even Rick, but if Romney gets the nomination, I’ll be writing in Ron Paul and you can all blame me personally for 4 more years of Obama, if that makes you feel better about your locked in indentured servitude to the State. (Which you will get with either Romney or Obama.)

Exactly! And with a GOP-e controlled congress (both houses), he is potentially more dangerous than Obama.

Never. At some point the GOP establishment needs to understand that conservative candidates are best able to create a bright-line difference between the GOP candidate and the Dem candidate. As Rush says, conservatism works every time it’s tried.

I’m finished with the GOPe efforts to muddle the middle and just bank on the base voting for their pick because we have nowhere else to go. No more. If Obama wins re-election and drives this nation over a cliff my conscience will be clear. Under no circumstances will I vote Romney - no matter how much he assumes I’ll “come around”.

I’ll vote down ticket. If it’s Romney I write in Vermin Supremen. I want my free pony.

What is it the dorks do not understand about, NO MORE RINOS?

They are suffering along side the rest of us by letting Obama win the election by staying home and refusing to vote for McCain.

But at least they feel "good" about themselves.

It is good - another Freeper posted it first and I stole it. This is good:

the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.”

I've never seen any indication that Romney wants to destroy the country. Nor have I seen any indication he is not an American.

I'll crawl on glass to vote for anyone but Obama.

Would you vote for Romney?

Well I would say no, but that is because my state is not a swing state and my presidential non-vote or third party vote won't matter. I might reconsider if I lived in a state where a large protest vote could swing the election.

If forced, I would vote for Romney then go home and puke.

And the very next day start looking for a 3rd party to emerge that is not corrupt and weak.
