Father arrested for girl's picture of toy gun
Calgary Herald ^ | 2/25/2012 | Thandi Fletcher, Postmedia News

Daddy, are you mad at me? Those were the first words out of the mouth of a scared little girl to her father when he was released this week after being charged with possession of a firearm because of a picture she drew at school of a man holding a gun - which turned out to be a toy. . .

"The kids were scared," said Thaler. "It is a four-year-old that we're taking the information from, but the fact is that this disclosure was very descriptive and very alarming to the officers investigating this."

It was a typical day for Sansone, who had no idea when he arrived at Forest Hills school to pick up his children, including four-year-old daughter Neaveh, that three police officers were waiting to arrest him . . .

Our society has gotten to the point to where it’s about unfit to live in. The ‘death by 1,000 cuts’ and parasites all enabled by government, that I believe started in the 1960s is killing the host.

I believe the only way our country to survive is by a reset of some kind. Hell, it may require a secession or even another ‘civil war’.

In Corning California an 8th grade student brought marijuana laced brownies to school and distributed them to unsuspecting classmates. When asked by school staff, the 8th grader admitted to the deed. He was suspended for 5 days. End of story. Or, is it. Members of the Corning Community are up in arms that 1) the police were not called, and 2) the student was not reported to the district office's office of attendance and due process (the person responsible for deciding if the offense warrants expulsion. Why are they so upset? The mother of the 8th grader is a school board member.

A picture drawn by a 4 year old of a "toy" gun puts a man in jail. A 14 year old knowingly gives peers drug laced brownies, that the peers didn't know was drug laced, and he only gets a five day suspension. There is something really wrong in our society.

Ah, guys, this story is in Canada, right?
:)

I mean, it’s still really bad, and REALLY stupid, but I don’t think it’s the US.

The West wasn’t won with a drawing of a gun.

Great illustration!

1. Where did it come from?
2. Can I swipe it?

pure power trip for the teachers and the cops.....you can't tell me they could have just ignored this little pen scratching or throw it away discreetly...

fact is, we've got govt entities going out of their way to abuse their power and go after people and their willing to do it without shame...

I'll bet the teacher was pissed at the day for some reason....

Imagine the tax consequences if the kid had drawn a picture of her dad with piles of cash. If you can arrest him for a picture of a non-existent gun, they can probably tax non-existent cash.

Heh! That could resemble a picture of my Wife and I about once a week.
She was quite new to firearms before we got together.

Not anymore.

leftists are leftists.

In this country the pediatric doctor might ask your kid if there are guns at home. Not much different
