Afghanistan is like a bad skip in a record album. After repeating a few dozen times it’s best to toss it into the ocean. I do not want to think about the purges that will happen when we leave. Too many have died already. Bless them for such sacrifice. Sad but true.
The billions of dollars our government has spent on schools and other infrastructure is a waste. In the blink of an eye Afghanistan will return to the way it has been for centuries and we will still be paying for the foolishness of our misguided leaders.
All we have to do is look at what is happening in Iraq as an indicator. Afghanistan will be 10 times worse.
