Have you heard that Malia Obama, the president’s daughter, is reportedly spending her spring break in Oaxaca, Mexico?
Allegedly, she’s jetting off with some of her classmates and 25 Secret Service agents to a country that the State Department has said all Americans should avoid. But something is different about the latest “Obama vacation controversy:” references to it are disappearing from the Internet — and fast.

Mexico is not dangerous unless you happen to be selling cocaine or trying to trans-ship marijuana to the US, or are a decent Mexican unfortunate enough to live in one of the areas where these have become normal activities.
There’s no threat to Baby Bambi Malia’s security. If this is not being publicized, it’s simply because Obama doesn’t want any more attention called to the tax-payer funded jet-setting ways of the Caudillo and his sacred family.

Now, the taxpayers are paying for a junket for a 13-yo that any normal parent would never allow. But these “parents” have the audacity to wag their fingers at people who DARE to send their kids to school without previously FDA-analyzed food. It is better to have a staff chef, like they do.

I would almost make a bet that one of the kids in that high dollar school she goes to has parents or family in Mexico and she is accompanying her, and of course like her mother. taking all taking of the others there too.
I certainly don’t have a problem with a story reporting the amount of taxpayer money and resources that are spent on Malia’s vacations. However, were I reporting such a story, I would leave out details about where she’s currently staying, how many friends and SS agents are with her, etc. that might endanger her security.
When she’s home safe & sound, then it might be appropriate to detail that stuff as it relates to taxpayer expense.

Can’t disagree with that. Obama has demonstrated that he isn’t above using his children for political gain.
Roodroppings. Tell that to all the innocents that have been kidnapped, raped, and/or tortured by the cartels either for ransom purposes or simply because they CAN. Mexico is little better than any other third-world obamatopia. If you are not related to one of the Ruling Families, then you can just sod off as far as any expectations of safety you might assume might be present anywhere.

Could be. IDK. Why she’s in Mexico is really none of my business. I’ll raise my kids. They can raise theirs. How much taxpayer money was spent is my business. If the press wants to report those details, fine by me.
