Heavily laden tonight.

If I should die, think only this of me: That there's some corner of a foreign field That is forever England. There shall be In that rich earth a richer dust concealed; A dust whom England bore, shaped, made aware, Gave, once, her flowers to love, her ways to roam; A body of England's, breathing English air, Washed by the rivers, blest by suns of home. And think, this heart, all evil shed away, A pulse in the eternal mind, no less Gives somewhere back the thoughts by England given; Her sights and sounds; dreams happy as her day; And laughter, learnt of friends; and gentleness, In hearts at peace, under an English heaven.

Prayers for Robert’s successful tonsil surgery and quick recovery. Tonsil removal can be rough on adults.

Aloha, Brother! There will be no rest from this time henceforth, I fear. Soon even the most uninformed among us will have the scales drop from their eyes. What they will then behold will not be for the faint of heart.

Good evening, Taz...((HUGS))...my goodness! You need your own vet on staff.
Balding does not sound good. Hope they can medicate him and stop the hair loss. He will need a sweater.

Six of our British Allies killed in a single incident - vehicle tripped an IED. As usual, the Islamists taking us back to the Seventh Century. All I can say is that I am appalled at the depths to which they descend. I thought when I came back from 'Nam that I had seen a lot of atrocities - by the other side, of course. Little did I know what was waiting for us in the 21st Century. God save us from these barbarians! God save our children from what is to come! God give our troops the grace, strength and skill to vanquish this evil foe!

God Of Our Fathers
Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in peace! We who remain hold you in high honor. Rest, fallen brother, in this sacred precinct; We who remain keep this place sacred. Rest, fallen brother, among these, your comrades; We who remain keep the watch. Rest, fallen brother, among these who answered the Nations call; We who remain press the fight forward in your name. Rest, fallen brother, lay down thy burden; We who remain have taken up the torch. Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in eternal peace!

Amen, Conor!
It’s gotten pretty depressing. I never thought I’d say this
but I’m ready to bring our guys home. They aren’t wanted, and
our government doesn’t back them up any more. They have been
hung out to dry by our miserable excuse for a president.
God help them....and protect them.....
