What if they get divorced? Does only one of them get to keep the airport?

Things just shouldn’t be named after living persons. It’s creepy.

The entire convention of naming things has become overly politicized, and therefore out of whack.

I am no fan of Bill Clinton, but I can understand why Little Rock would want to honor a governor who went on to become president. OTOH, what, exactly did HRC do for the state?

Meanwhile, here in NYC, we just renamed the Triboro bridge for for Robert Kennedy, a man who served three years as NY senator, one of which was spent exclusively campaigning for president. Senator Kennedy, who was not from NY, established residence in the state because his brother had already taken the available seat in Massachusettes. He had no significant personal accomplishments as NY senator. The bridge was named after him because he was assassinated in California, and because of his last name. There is no bridge in NYC named for Nathan Hale, who gave up his one life for his country near 66th St. on September 22, 1776. There is no bridge named for Teddy Roosevelt. Ed Koch deserves the Queensboro Bridge (no pun intended). Robert Kennedy is far down the list of deserving NYers.
