abc ^

Posted on 03/21/2012 8:02:50 AM PDT by sunmars

ormer Florida Governor Jeb Bush endorsed Mitt Romney after Romney’s lopsided win in Illinois Tuesday night. The former Florida Governor – a Republican heavyweight – called on members of the party to coalesce behind Romney.

“Congratulations to Governor Mitt Romney on his win last night and to all the candidates for a hard fought, thoughtful debate and primary season,” said Bush in a statement. “Primary elections have been held in thirty-four states, and now is the time for Republicans to unite behind Governor Romney and take our message of fiscal conservatism and job creation to all voters this fall. I am endorsing Mitt Romney for our Party’s nomination. We face huge challenges, and we need a leader who understands the economy, recognizes more government regulation is not the answer, believes in entrepreneurial capitalism and works to ensure that all Americans have the opportunity to succeed.”

Bush, the brother of former President George W. Bush, is a much-respected voice in the party and was considered by some to be a leading contender for the nomination if he had d was courted by some conservatives as an alternative candidate. But he rejected calls for his candidacy. Romney also won the primary in Bush’s home state of Florida.

His father, former President George H.W. Bush has also endorsed Romney.

Time for a 2nd party

We were there 12 years ago.

Bushs would endorse Obama if he was in the GOP. All I’m seeing in this endorsement though is “Pick Me Mitty Pick Me”. If GW Bush had not wanted the programs we have today and the expansion of presidential powers and federal agencies he dreamed up that took place under his terms maybe Obama would have been Constitutionally held in check. For what is going on today thank “W” for setting the precedents for it. All three Bushs no difference in them whatsoever except age.

Absolutely.

They're all riding in the same limo.

This became inordinately clear years ago.

The only logical conclusion

I can draw from all the facts related to that era and Bush SR

is

that he was Reagan’s boss—making sure that Reagan towed the globalist line as ordered when ordered—like the good actor he was hired to be.

I loved Reagan and still do.

Nevertheless, no one in the Whitehouse for at least 150 years has been an independent leader. No one.

The country isn’t ready to vote for another Bush so if Jeb gets the VP nod then the GOP just handed another, and the last, free election to Soros & Co. Heil, Hussein!

I disagree. There are still Patriots standing up for Truth/Our Constitution. The media and the GOP E will stand in their way every time - Reagan got through. But since then they bonded with the enemy as ONE, disguising themselves as two for votes only.

What we see in gov’t, we see in the ‘religious’ community as well. Those who stand up for Truth will be slammed and ordered to succumb to PC and any other trick to keep them suppressed. Some are called charlatans while the real charlatans go unnoticed. All by deceiving those who can be deceived.

Deception is the only tool satan has and is using it in our gov’t and churches. It ALL is, after all, a spiritual battle. Nothing new under the sun. And it will all end and come to naught and HE will separate the wheat from the chaff. If there were no wheat, as you suggest, there is nothing to separate. They weren’t/aren’t ‘acting’, they were/are ‘real’.

We are always given a choice/road to follow and ‘many’ accept the wrong choice/road and only a ‘few’ accept the right choice/road as we know from Scripture. And we see it being played out before our eyes both in gov’t sector and in the religious sector.

Everything we do/say/believe shows our heart to HIM. He doesn’t judge our actions but our heart. And He will present it back to us at His judgement. And being in front of ALL Truth, they will see how they condemned themselves.

And hearts that deceived and condemn others through their lies/actions are vile - think Barry and Mitt. And hearts that don’t know any better hurt others because of their lack of knowledge and others suffer the consequences because of their laziness to seek knowledge and, instead, rely on their preconceived thoughts and/or fear. Some have no desire to learn and grow, they already know it all. Yet, no one does. But those learning and growing, undoubtedly, can’t tell the know it all’s anything. PRIDE - as it was in/before the beginning.

Obama will appoint hundreds of liberal/marxist judges to the Supreme Court and other courts. And those marxist judges will continue to do damage to the U.S. for decades.

Well, there goes my 3 year old prediction that Jeb would be the nominee coming out of a brokered convention.

Not that I wanted another Bush, I didn't and don't. But compared to Romney, Jeb looks uber-right wing.

Ah, Jeb. He is such a romantique. He can charm Romney and still take the crown. The unifier of the factions, should Myth stumble and fall short.

Ehhhhh...I don’t think a Bush will win the POTUS again. I don’t see a Bush as VP even.

The state murder of Terri Shiavo will come back to bite
JEB Bush square in the azz if he ever decides to run for president, or Romney makes the mistake of putting him on the ticket. He and his RINO brother sat back and didn’t do one damn thing to stop her murder.

That’s so true, but completely not understood by the mental midgets on this thread! (The childish post that followed your well reasoned statement was so predictable).

It should read “Jeb Bush endorses Obama for a second term.”

That is what endorsing Romney in effect does.

No, VP Marco. As an aside, I endorse Jeb’s younger son for a four year tour with and infantry battalion. How does that sound?

I will not “resign myself” to Romney and I will not vote for him. If that is what the republican party gives us, then they deserve to lose.
