Last weekend in the city of Chicago alone, gangbangers slaughtered ten people and wounded another forty. The youngest fatality is only six years old. The youngest person wounded is only one-year-old. Many of the victim were pedestrians sprayed with bullets in drive by shootings. The national news has said nothing about this.
So why does one shooting in Florida warrant weeks of national news? Why has there been thousands of articles a day, for the last four days, about one single shooting?
Almost all of the news items about George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin contains a combination of false statements, opinions presented as facts, transparent distortions, and a complete absence of some of the most relevant details. Almost all news items are written soley from the point of view of the grieving family. The media also fills their articles with outdated baby-faced pictures of Trayvon. Very few include that he was a towering 6'2” football player. Is the media really reporting the news, or is this classic agitation/propaganda to advance a political agenda.

I’m not the one making a big deal out of the screaming. The folks who want to lynch Zimmerman are. Have you looked at the videos and comments on youtube? The comments are rather....disturbing. “They killed Trevon”, “he’s screaming for help and then he gets shot”. Mom even said that is him screaming.
Now, my point being, if that is not Martin, then what agenda is being advanced here? And why?
I don’t have a dog in this hunt. It doesn’t really matter to me one way or another what happened. It’s just kinda suspicious that this is getting the play that it is. And when I see people jumping to all kind of conclusions, convicting a guy who even the police and DA don’t think needs to be arrested, it gets me to wondering...
Don’t pick a fight with guys that might be carrying. Easy calculus.
In a way, that may be correct, but I have only read that it was claimed by George Zimmerman.
He is the only surviving witness to much of the altercation.
If you found an account where a witness other than George Zimmerman said this, please provide a link.
Everything anyone says who is trying to bring some sanity to this media lynching is subjected to serious scrutiny, so we have to be very precise.
They just said on CNN that they would seek out the DOJ to declare this a ‘hate crime’ to obtain a conviction.
Ok, then the case of the elderly couple being tortured, beaten, robbed and raped during a home invasion by blacks just the other day in OK should also be a hate crime.

A young white couple was kidnapped by a gang of 5 blacks, raped, and tortured for two days before they were cut up, burned and tossed away in garbage bags.
This was covered up by the MSM.
They refused to declare it a ‘hate crime’.
Most of them got away with sentences lighter than called for.

It’s so confusing. When a near-white community watcher murders an unarmed black boy using a firearm (aren’t we all for firearms?!) the victim’s side of the story, as much as we can make it out, is “MSM propaganda”, but when we read from the same source about a female teacher having sex with a 17 year old boy, it’s the God’s truth!

There is a very telling part in the call when the dispatcher asks for his address, and Zimmerman states he doesn’t want to give that info because, “I don’t know where this kid is”. If at that point in the tape,after Martin ran and the dispatcher told Zimmerman to go back to the truck to meet the police, he obviously could not have been chasing Martin.

I'm still waiting for the MSM to post the photo of a 17 year old high school junior rather than an 11 or 12 year old kid.......
If one is going to make judgments on an internet forum it helps to have ALL the relevant information on hand.
I suspect Kyle Rogers is correct in the information he has provided but just like Obama, the rest of the MSM will not fulfill their duty in fully investigating the same.......
Don't forget what's ultimately at stake here and that's Florida's support of the 2nd Amendment and expecially their CASTLE DOCTRINE LAW............

Since the police chief has exhonerated Mr. Zimmerman based on their investigation, I find it a little strange that no one in the MSM has attempted to obtain the complete investigative report and post it for all the world to see.........
Nobody in the MSM has bothered to find that out......another oddity.

The article states that the community was 49% white. And had a lot of crime recently. Black neighbors were concerned and think Zimmerman was a good guy.
Those neighbors are just a bunch of "Oreos" don'tcha know? They ain't down wit the struggle.
I think we don’t have all the facts and the ones we do have are somewhat jumbled and some of it may be clouded by adrenalin/emotion and other factors.
The reports say that Trayvon went to the 7-11 during the NBA All-star halftime. That game started at 7:30pm est.
The first call from Zimmerman to police was at 7:11 pm, Trayton’s girlfriend called Trayton at 7:12 pm.
It was raining that evening and had rained on and off that day from about 3pm. The 7-11 was .7 miles away.

The thing I do wonder about is Zimmermans account of Trayvon having his hand in his waistband/pants and something in his other hand— he had Skittles, an Arizona Iced Tea and a phone.
Trayvon doesn’t have three hands, so how did this work? Was the iced tea and skittles in the front through-pouch of the hoodie?
Perhaps Trayvon had his hand in his waistband to sorta stabilize the tea and Skittles carried in the front pouch of his sweatshirt and his phone was in the other hand?
Or maybe he reached in his pants to grab his phone out of a pocket that is on the inside front of the sweats/shorts?
I don’t know but something about this part of the story puzzles me a bit.
But for all the phone calls Zimmerman made to police 42?46? Whatever it is...he never seemed to get over dramatic or exaggerate.
I do think an unfamiliar walking around in the RAIN would make me concerned, too. I think a bunch of bad circumstances and bad decisions all around is why this happened.
So very sad for everyone involved.

Worth repeating. When you have hundreds of millions of citizens interacting every day, you are bound to have a few actions that are not absolutely clear cut and a tragedy all the way around.
And it has absolutely nothing to do with racism.
I have to be honest - I don't have a clue who started the confrontation, but, like you, I listened to Zimmerman's whole 911 call, and I was also struck by this part. Not only does he not know where "this kid" is, but he seems a little nervous - not like the aggressive pursuer you might expect (from the simple fact that he got out of his car after noting that the person looked like trouble.) He doesn't want to say his address in case the kid is close enough to hear him - he definitely sounds nervous.
A lot has been made of the 911 operator suggesting that Zimmerman should not pursue, but he does say, "okay" in response. We can't see what he is doing. I suspect he was still following, but at what he thought was a distance. The kid was hurrying away, but with a watchful eye over his shoulder. At some point, I am guessing, they may have found themselves suddenly in closer proximity than either expected. Remember, Zimmerman had lost sight of Martin. Martin told his girlfriend he was hurrying to get out of Zimmerman's sight.
But somehow, they ended up face to face, and at that point the whole "why are you here?" "why are you following me?" conversation occurred. Both of them scared. Neither wanting to back away (or turn his back.)
Then what?
I don't think we will ever know. But I do think that it is not as cut and dried as so many seem to think (including me, when I first started reading about it.)
Was Zimmerman "aggressively pursuing" or just trying to stay close enough to keep an eye on Martin?
Was Martin trying to get away, or trying to assert himself? Somewhere in the dim recesses of my memory, I can recall being a teenage boy, and not wanting to appear frightened. It happens. Was it Martin who suddenly stepped out of the shadows to ask "why are you following me?"
And not to spread the second-guessing too far beyond Zimmerman and Martin, but when two guys are fighting, and one is screaming for help, didn't anybody even come outside and yell "stop it! I'm calling the cops!" Because that may very well have stopped the fight.
This was a real, senseless tragedy. And I'm really only sure of two things: Trayvon Martin is dead. George Zimmerman is going to do some time.
You can decide for yourself if either one of them deserves it. It's hard for me to think of any reason Martin deserves to be dead, but I'm getting a lot closer to concluding that neither one of them deserves his fate.

In Oklahoma, an 85 year old woman was raped and murdered, while her 90 year old husband was beaten into a coma. Both lived through the depression and the dust bowl years. He apparently served in the 101st Airborne during WW II.
This country allows the circumstances to exist that would make it even possible that these two old people could be attacked by these savages. I find the evil behind this story, these actions to be completely unfathomable. And yet all the media wants to do is highlight their little angel Trayvon.

No, I don't, but for God's sake, did he have to kill the attacker (assuming that Martin attacked him)? Was Zimmerman's life in danger? A warning shot would have been sufficient.
