Santorum suggests that re-electing Obama would be better than a Romney presidency

Not only share many of your 'thoughts' expressed; but have shared a number of them here. It was far easier to buy into the MO that we can save ourselves by voting in Conservative Representatives - and not worry about the 'big one'; before Obama came on scene.

As to:

Rather get your mind around electing TP conservatives to the Senate and House.

Can only ask if you have not yet noticed that Obama is reducing Congress to an irrelevancy; heretofore unmatched (and as yet, unchallenged.) Diktat is his now favored MO. More and worse to come; for certain; for his next 'five' years. And who knows; how many following.

Our Country and Constitution 'on fire'!. We not only suffer Obama's 'messianic' visions - and those of Soros for that matter (may not feel it yet; but HIS hand reaching deeper and deeper into your life and community) - but as well; we suffer his pyromania.

No one stopping him; and so there is only, the voting booth. And in Obama's world; that is a small challenge...as is apparently our Constitution/Justice System/Education/Energy/Food. . .et al.

For additional 'note': Obama's recent - and again, with unprecedented reach - Executive Order; he takes another 'pound of flesh' from Congress and every citizen(and with barely a whimper heard in response.)

Of course; this is just the latest. By Obama's Agenda; he has only just begun. Congress is not the 'sole' answer per this Obama threat. No looking back to compare 'tough times'.

We are now working in an entirely different paradigm; and that is what people/voters; need to wrap their minds around.

We must get ALL vestiges of the 'critical race theorists/Marxists/Alynskyites/communists; by all manner of combinations; out of our Government; but first, the head of the hydra (or 'figure head'). Our future depends on it; and that future will be cast in 2012.

(One could certainly debate; if it had not been for the Presidencies of 'Jimmy Carter' and Bill Clinton for that matter; and to lesser extent; Democrat controlled Congress; and OK; RINO's - and worse the radical Dem 'Left'; we might not have had; 9/11. Your post can be summed as a expression of fear over Obama’s Chicago ways and underlying tendency to be a dictator.

Yes Obama will see how much he can get away with and Congress will at first as they do now stand back and snort a little.

Obama will keep testing the boundaries of his power and he will make it more and more difficult for his opponents as well as his supporters until Congress is compelled to act much in the same way that Congress finally organized to bring Nixon into account over his abuse of executive power. And it was Republican Howard Baker that led a lot of that reckoning.

That’s why Santorum is correct. It is better to have Obama than Romney because Romney will ruin the country as well but it will take longer to bring him to account than it will be Obama. We are getting close to bringing Obama into view.

So if it’s Obama versus Romney, we’re screwed either way. But we are getting a fix on Obama and he will be easier to reign in under impeachment if he abuses his power.

So far he has made the illegal recess appointments, he has Holder stonewalling Fast & Furious and gumming up the works on voter photo id in several states, he has lied and bullied on Healthcare, he has clearly forged documents to prove his bona fides, and so many other things but most importantly he has positioned the United States for a devaluation in their currency and their standard of living, i.e. he is ghettoizing the entire nation.

And be assured, the fears of Clinton, actually the Clintons, were even more pronounced at this juncture. If Dole ‘96 had been successful we would today have had Gore ‘00 and ‘04.

The fear should not focused on Obama but rather the DNC and all their operatives. Voter Fraud and voter registration of illegals is their primary objective.

Face it, we do not have a conservative candidate in the lead. The GOP-E may have a candidate but he is not of us, not for us. We have two candidates that gather more voter support than the choice of the GOP-E. We need a brokered convention to knock Romney out and then we settle on Santorum or Gingrich. Then we got a shot at destroying the GOP-E and replacing it with GOP-TP. Until that convention we need to send a message that it will be better to have Obama than to nominate Romney.

If Romney gets the nomination, it’s best for the millstone to hang around the neck of the DNC and their Obama than to put it on an unprincipled GOP-E who will be a very poor leader as he has shown himself to be in the past.

We will have a lot of fun in Obama’s 2nd term getting him to the boundary of impeachment and showing the American people to never ever elect or even consider again such a poorly qualified community organizer.

I remember the exhilaration of electing GW Bush thinking he was a true conservative and he was leaning that way until he was cowed by the protests of the Iraq War. It was good fortune for him and a blessing for the USA to have had at the time General Petraeus in the beginning of the 2nd term else Bush would have been even more prone to capitulate. We need a General Petraeus to run in 2016 if Santorum or Gingrich do not get the nomination. Petraeus-Palin could be a landslide ticket.

Back to GW; we worked hard to give GW a GOP Senate and House in the first part of his second term. But his weakness was revealed and he lost the ability to lead. A GOP Congress with a weak lameduck GOP President is a GOP Congress sliding towards disaster and in 2006, the were thrown out and replaced with 2 bungling corrupt phonies in Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. That the American people would allow two such disgusting personas to lead their Congress is an indicator of just how deeply disappointed they were in not having a principled and disciplined party promoting values they hold dear.

So it matters not that Congress and the Presidency be GOP, it matters that they be GOP-TP and especially not GOP-E.

This is being misinterpreted, especially by the pro-Romney crowd, which is desperately grasping at any straw to erase the Etch-a-Sketch remarks.

Romney is too much like Obama — that Mitt is a RINO whose record looks like that of Obama and thus, you can choose either one and get essentially the same thing.

You might remember that Mittens voted for Tsongas.

Romney has said that he is for a national health mandate (Obamacare), even though he is denying that right now. You can find him saying that he is for a mandate on a NATIONAL level, on Youtube.
