It’s intriguing to me that this seems so intensely personal to you. Are you the brother of Martin? Do you share a father? Are you the person who has a home where Martin was staying? Or are you just a homeless person with a laptop jonesing off somebody’s internet connection at the gated community? Your laptop is probably getting low on power by now. Do you have a john the generator?

Look, I work EMS, so that’s medical not police, but to me Zimmerman has psychologically needy attention-seeker written all over him (more than forty 911 calls in a year.) Instead of being sick and needing an ambulance ride, he sees suspicious people and crimes about to happen.
Listen to his 911 call, his voice shaking with adrenaline, his frustration, anger, venom, his mood shifts. He sought out that confrontation.
Who took it to the physical level first, I do not know. What would you do if you were a 17 y.o. boy being followed, stalked, approached, by a visibly unbalanced man? Isn’t that how it must have seemed to Trayvon Martin?
Listen to Zimmerman shouting for help in the 911 call from the woman witness. His voice is deep, controlled, rhythmic. Not shrill, panicked, desperate. Not thinking he’s going to die. His injuries were trivial.
Zimmerman is morally culpable for provoking this confrontation. I would hold him civilly liable. Criminally liable? The police did a piss-poor investigation. Just because someone says self-defense doesn’t make it so. They didn’t test Zimmerman for drugs or alcohol. Didn’t get a crime reconstruction team there. If Martin had had a juvenile record, I would have expected them to release it in the early days to cover themselves. Now of course it would be politically inexpedient.
The day of the incident in late February was still standard time. Sunset was around 6:30 p.m. or a few minutes earlier.
Why? Because Al Sharpton said so?
“I don’t believe that Zimmerman hunted this kid down and murdered him, and it is certainly possible that the kid attacked him. But when he called the police, Zimmerman was told to back off and let them do it. He was obviously not under any threat at that time and the police were on their way.”
Mr. Zimmerman was not commanded by 911 to break off following him. It was just a suggestion. Shortly thereafter Trayvon ran off and Mr. Zimmerman headed back to his truck.

Mr. Zimmerman lived in that gated community. Trayvon did not.
Mr. Zimmerman saw an unidentifiable and suspicious-acting man in the neighborhood where several recent burglaries had taken place. He was concerned that this guy might burgle a home so he did what any concerned citizen would do...keep an eye on him. Is there a law against that?
Then Trayvon ran off out of sight. I and most cops would consider that suspicious. If the cops were there and watched him run off like that they would have taken off after him in hot pursuit. Mr. Zimmerman did not.
Police report describes him as 6’ feet, not 6’2”.
Police report also lists him at 160 lbs. That’s not the big bad black football player that you have nightmares about.
So it was about 45 minutes after sunset. It’s dark by then usually with just the small, fading glow right before it is completely dark.
That would make Trayvon seem more suspicious to the Mr. Zimmerman.
During an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper on AC360, Taaffe said that a problem could have been avoided if Martin had been “up front and truthful” with Zimmerman.
Taaffe told NBC Miami that there had been eight burglaries within 15 months, which he said set the stage for Zimmerman’s heightened suspicion. He said safety, not race, was Zimmerman’s main concern.
“George is a congenial, admirable person,” he told the news outlet. “He had a passion and care for this neighborhood, to ensure the safety of everybody here.”

Sorry puppy. Number 1, I’m not a noobie.
Number 2, I just saw a report on one of your networks (CBS) stating that Zimmerman has not been arrested because there is evidence backing up his version of the story.
Keep trying though, newbie troll.
The media makes things up to or were you not aware of that?
A cursory review of Zimmerman’s 911 calls since 2004 indicates he reported many more white/hispanic male subjects to the police, than black.
Might be relevant to his state of mind.
I keep thinking of that opening scene in the movie “Crash”, ‘
One of the carjackers complains,
“You couldn’t find a whiter, safer or better lit part of this city. But this white woman sees two black guys who look like UCLA students strolling down the sidewalk and her reaction is blind fear.”
Right before they carjack a white couple.

A recent picture of the kid which was given out at his memorial. I’m sure the MSM could find it if I can. But that picture doen’t fit with their agenda.
